First I was a bit skeptical of Bookimed as I’ve never used or heard of their services. I must say they were very professional, answered all the questions I’ve had, and there were many and everything they said would happen happen. Yasin was my medical coordinator and everything that I’d read about him in the reviews were ALL true. He’s friendly, accessible and answered all my questions promptly. My surgeon was Dr Gurhan Ozcan and I can’t say enough about what an AWESOME doctor he truly is. My daughter who accompanied me on the trip, and I had a lot of questions for him and being a professor, he answered each and every questions in my pre-operation as well as post operation visit. All the staff, from driver who picked me up, the anaesthesiologist to the person who brought my food, to the nurses, cleaning staff were simply amazing and I HIGHLY recommend Bookimed, Istanbul Aesthetics Clinic, Yasin and the team. I had a breast lift and tummy tuck (pics enclosed) and I did not have the intense pain that I’ve read about online. Don’t get me wrong, I had very painful moments but the nurses were there to give me pain relief whenever I needed it. Everything was great from the very start, initially I was able to connect with Rabi to communicate details via WhatsApp which was a smooth process and was fast to respond considering our time differences. The best part was not having to worry about hotel stay, transportation etc. everything is included in the costs and they make you well aware of that including the fee if using credit card. There’s no hidden fees or unexpected occurrences. Daniela greeted me on arrival at the clinic, she speaks perfect english and is able to answer any questions from start to finish. Compassionate staff, talented surgeon, modern equipment and techniques. And subsequent support, which is also very important. If I had a choice, I would contact the same surgeon and the same clinic. On the upper eyelids the seams are very neat, on the lower eyelids I couldn’t find them at all. Trying to get hair replacement procedure in the USA is not only expensive and behind the expertise that other countries like South Korea or in my case, Turkey, are known for. From day one, Bookimed was extremely responsive and answered all my questions quickly and expertly, while getting me the best price for my hair replacement procedure. I was initially given a quote for Istanbul Plastic Surgery Clinic, but later given an even better rate and consultation with Adem & Havva Hair Clinic. I went with the FUE hair method which is less costly than the newer DHI method, and I believe just as effective, although a little more recovery is needed by about a few days with FUE method. Do your homework on what you want done for your needs and balance the price and see what works for you. Remember that two prices are offered for either procedure: "Shaven head" and "Unshaven head," With the shaven head being the cheaper cost but I believe more sanitary. Unshaven method does look better while you heal (you keep your regular hair) but I just believe removing all hair to allow doctors a clean base for the hair procedure is the best way to go, and cheaper and more sanitary too without sacrificing quality. Your cost will vary depending on your consultation with BookImed that includes sending them pictures with specific instructions. But ultimately the amount of hair grafts you need will determine the final cost. But BookiMed will work to find the very best deal for you based on procedure you've chosen. But compare other clinics if you feel better to see that Bookimed will give you the best rate for comparable procedures from other clinics. I recommend getting to Turkey about 3-4 days early so you can sight see this beautiful country before your hair procedure. They will arrange all transportation and hotel accommodations for you if you wish extra nights and will pick you up at airport and take you to your hair procedures. I cannot stress enough that my visit and my procedure was excellent and I highly recommend Bookimed for hair and even plastic surgery procedures ( I will do a chin lift next). It has only been a week since my procedure was done and can post pics based on my current status of healing. But I have not suffered any issues or side effects and my scalp and hair are healing and growing properly. The clinic will follow my hair process for one year to ensure my hair grows out well and I am completely satisfied. I hope this review helps many of you out there. I want to give a special thank you to Dr. Hassan Jabar from Bookimed, Maryum our hair nursing consultant and coordinator, Serpil Kargin, the Adem and Havva Hair Clinic Office manager, and finally our driver, Mr. Zafer who was very kind and helped me with all my transportation and covid testing needs to return back to the USA.

I stayed at the clinic for 6 days, good conditions, separate room, 3 meals a day. The medical staff was always on the phone, they helped in any situation. I was surprised that manipulations with blood (taking analyses, treatment of stitches after surgery) are carried out without disposable gloves, for this a huge minus. Consultations with the doctor were also very fast, he was always in a hurry. I had a lot of questions, but half of them remained unanswered. He does his job, but especially does not explain or tell anything. For me this is also a disadvantage.

I recently had a breast lift and augmentation using fat transfer (liposuction from the stomach area) performed by Dr. Safa. My experience was excellent, and I highly recommend him for breast augmentation. Logistics: 9/10 My Bookimed consultant was very helpful in connecting me with top surgeons for my case—Dr. Safa stood out among them all. Although my arrival in Turkey was delayed due to a late take-off, my arranged transport was prompt, picking up my sister and me within 15 minutes of clearing security. We were taken to Antwell Hotel, which was included in the surgery package and arranged by Dr. Safa’s office. The hotel was very comfortable, with great views and excellent provisions. The following day, I was taken to The Academic Hospital, which was beautiful, clean, and provided spectacular care. I felt very comfortable throughout. Dr. Safa met with me and swiftly walked me through the procedure. He was professional, informative, and attentive to my suggestions, though he clearly knows best! Janan was my post-care consultant—she was excellent. If you need clarification, she’s the one to ask, as Dr. Safa is understandably very busy. My only feedback is that I was provided a single room instead of the two-bed room I had expected. However, the bed was large, so it wasn’t an issue. Additionally, it would be beneficial if Dr. Safa’s office provided more in-depth post-care information, perhaps in a PDF document or short video. I recommend bringing a notepad to jot down important information. Quality of Care: 10/10 The hospital was beautiful and well-staffed. Every time I needed assistance, I received exceptional care. I spent one night at the hospital and was well looked after by the nurses. Afterward, I was released to the Antwell Hotel, where I received similar care from their in-hotel nurses. However, I recommend having a family member or friend with you for 24/7 care and supervision. Medications provided included antibiotics, pain relief, and antibiotic cream. A $100 drainage massage was also offered (optional, but recommended at some point during your recovery). The language barrier was minimal; most staff spoke good English, except for a few of the cleaning staff, who were nonetheless kind and excellent at their jobs. Results (So Far): 10/10 I am very satisfied with my results. I had a challenging case with over a 1.5-cup asymmetry, which has been corrected as much as possible. The results are beautiful and have likely exceeded my expectations. In Summary: I highly recommend Dr. Safa. He is a skilled plastic surgeon, particularly talented in breast augmentation.

My procedure was liposuction to 3 areas - upper belly, lower belly and waist. My initial contact was with Dr Anna Petrikova through Bookimed. I sent my photos to her and spoke with her about possible hospitals in Turkey. She contacted some hospitals for me and came back with the recommended procedure and costs from the hospitals. Firstly mini tummy tuck with liposuction was suggested. I did not want a tummy tuck so asked Anna if she would contact the hospitals again for liposuction only and told her that I was not expecting to have the tummy of a 20 year old (I am 48), just an improvement would be acceptable. Anna came back to me with some choices for liposuction only and some prices. Don’t be afraid to ask as many questions as you want and to take your time with your decision. Anna answered all my questions as quickly as possible and did not pressurise me in any way. She was professional and very helpful at all times. Barbara from the care department at Bookimed suggested some hotels as I wanted to book my own. She came up with an apartment which was only about 10 mins from the hospital that I had decided on which was LIV hospital. I was then allocated a hospital coordinator - Nomonzaya Purevsuren. She was excellent and sorted everything to do with the hospital - taxi transfers to/from airport, accommodation and hospital, all translations with admission staff at the hospital, nurses, anethetist etc and she was in contact with me constantly. She went down to the operating theatre with me and was back at my room after my procedure to answer any questions and make sure everything was ok. I stayed at the hospital overnight and had regular contact with Nomonzaya - it was a bit like having a Personal assistant in a private hospital! I would have been lost without her and she was a great help. My surgeon at LIV hospital was Dr Zeynep Sevim. She was fluent in English and very professional. She answered any questions I had and I felt very comfortable with her - it was actually quite nice to have a female Dr. I was admitted to the hospital in the morning and after blood tests etc were carried out, my procedure was done the same afternoon. Everything went as expected and I was discharged the following afternoon. I went back to Dr Zeyneps clinic the next morning for a check up. The hospital and nursing staff were excellent and looked after me very well and although the nurses did not speak much English, Nomonzaya was always on hand. My husband was with me at the hospital most of the time and there was a pull out sofa bed in my room that he could have slept on if wanted. He was always made to feel welcome and was given food if he was there at meal times. All of this happened only 11 days ago so I am of course feeling a bit sore and bruised. I sent my updated photos to the Dr. this morning and she said that everything was looking good and I should send some more in around 2 weeks. It’s quite a scary thing to have any kind of surgery in a different country to your own but I feel as though I was taken care of very well by everyone at LIV hospital and I can already see the beginnings of my new shape after Dr Zeyneps excellent work!
