Head of the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at St. Joseph's Hospital in Vienna, Chairman of the Austrian Society of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery (ÖGPÄRC) for many years, as well as the scientific and professional association of specialists in plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery (DMC). For almost two decades, he was the elected representative of the Federal Group of Specialists in Plastic Surgery at the Medical Association and is a member of the board of the scientific community. After being elected vice president by members of the community in 2016, his two-year presidency began at the 54th annual meeting.
