FUE Hair Transplant
FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) is a transplant technique of transferring grafts (1-4 hairs) from the donor area to the recipient zone. Typically, the back of the head, arms, legs, or any other hairy parts of the body are the donor areas.
During the procedure, doctors use a special micro-tool, the tip of 1 mm in diameter. It makes small and neat cuts, so there are no scars on the skin after transplantation.
FUE transplant can take up to 6 hours. The duration of the procedure depends on the size of baldness area.
Recovery after transplant takes up to 7 days. During this time, the skin on the head heals.
The final result is visible in 6-10 months when new hair begins to grow from the implanted hair bulbs.
