One of the best experiences I have ever had at a dentist. I am very pleased with the results and I am so thankful I found Dr. Lily. I was recommended by a friend back in Norway, and I am extremely happy I followed their advice. I didn't have to ask a lot of questions because Dr. Lily and her team clearly expressed great amount of experience and knowledge. I was shown past implant and veneers work and the before and after images were unbelievable!!!I did not have enough time on this trip to get veneers but I am definitely planning to come back to get a full set of veneers at Bangkok Dental Spa on my next visit to Thailand.I highly recommend Dr. Lily and Bangkok Dental Spa to anyone who wants nothing but high quality work done.

I have spent the last ten years visiting my dentist in Perth, Western Australia and having just enough work done on my teeth to keep them in acceptable condition without needing to have them all removed and having a full set of false dentures. My dentist told me I needed specialist treatment was looking at a six figure bill to have crowns, implants, bone grafts to my jaw and other major work that would be required to achieve this. I was facing a major decision and was wondering what i was to do. Then about eighteen months ago my twin brother came back from a holiday in Bangkok where he had met Dr Lily at the Bangkok Dental Spa. He was treated for tooth removal, fillings, crowns, caps and implants all with great success. I asked my Aussie dentist for his opinion and he suggested my brother come and visit him so he could see the quality of the work done in Thailand for himself. After my dentist examined the xrays and the work done on my brother he reported the work done was good as any treatment he could have received in Australia.My dentist knew that I could not afford the six figure bill in Australia, so I set up appointments with Dr Lily, flights and Hotel accommodation for a dental holiday with my dental visits spread across my stay. Owing to the extensive work required and the healing and recovery, the treatment was spread over 4 visits in 15 months.I now have completed my last treatment only a few weeks ago and I am very pleased with the final result, I have my smile back and do not have to hold my hand over my mouth to hide my teeth when I laugh. On each trip I stayed in comfortable accommodation, reasonably priced and only short walk to the Dental Spa. Overall the dental cost would have been a little more than one third of what I was to pay in Australia if I did not want a set of false dentures instead of teeth that look and feel like my own teeth. The travel, accommodation and holiday is extra and this is up to individual personal preferences but does not have to be expensive.I can only sing the praises of Dr Lily and her wonderful friendly staff, for the welcome received as I entered the professional appointed reception area to very clean treatment rooms and highly qualified, experienced and professional prosthodontic &implant surgeon team. Whenever my dental hygienist back in the U.S. would look in my mouth, she would shake her head and say, “Oh man, you’ve got the worst grinding problem I’ve ever seen. Your teeth are almost gone.”
This went on for years. My teeth were disappearing and there was nothing I could do without spending tens of thousands of dollars in oral surgery.
That’s when I found Dr. Lily.
On vacation in Bangkok, I decided to do a little research. Dr. Lily’s Dental Spa kept popping up, so I paid a visit, with the idea in mind of just getting a consultation. When I left after my fifth visit a couple weeks later, I had what is essentially a brand new mouth, and the next time my dental hygienist back home took a look, she said, “Wow. That’s amazing.”
Each step along the way during this process was collaborative, with Dr. Lily offering me several suggestions and options regarding both the price and the extent of the work being contemplated. This was something new for me.
Eventually, I will likely need some implants and more drastic measures, but what Dr. Lily and her team were able to do with some finely-tuned work, consisting mostly of crowns & inlays, was nothing short of amazing. During some visits, I spent 3 or 4 hours at a time in the chair, but I never experienced the slightest pain. Even the occasional Novocain shot was less invasive than what I’d experienced in the past.
Dr. Lily’s team has been with her for a long time, and it shows. She has a near-telepathic connection with her assistant Jinny, so that every step of the process flows seamlessly. There are also other dentists, lab techs and specialists she works with, all at the same level of professionalism.
After talking with other visitors who sought dental care in Thailand, and some Thai people as well, it was obvious I could have paid less for the work I had done, but I believe I made the best choice. I have felt every bit as safe as I would have in the States, and the quality of work and service was world class. Plus I got to know Dr. Lily! She is a fun and personable as well as professional, with a wealth of information about Bangkok and Thailand.
As you can see, I can’t speak highly enough of the experience I’ve had here. Including air fare, hotel, food and in-country travel in Thailand, the work is still much less expensive than what I would have to pay back home. Also, there is something ineffable about the experience: maybe it’s the way your name is on the marquee when you enter the office, the small number of patients seen on a given day, the kindness of the staff, the seeming lack of concern for how long each procedure takes. You know you’re someplace different and special. I will be coming back.

I was suffering with infected crowns over the Christmas period in the UK. I got quotes from Private dentists in the UK one suggested an extraction / then implant for one large molar which my mouth could not afford to lose as I have few molars left. All work could only be done after Christmas leaving me in paid - I changed my schedule to leave for Thailand early. At very short notice Dr Lilly had a look using amazing X-ray shots that the tooth was fine, work and prices agreed. Dr Lilly lifted the existing crowns found the problems replaced the crowns and I had preparation for an additional implant I never planned to have but I used the opportunity. Work was never rushed and I had confidence in her work. Year later the crowns are great and the implant feels like an original tooth.

I am so pleased to be able to review Dr Lilys 'Bangkok Dental Spa' and even more pleased to know that I'm sharing, and offering my experiences of her team with so many people through this interactive medium that is Google +. I first found and visited Dr Lily in 2008. I had like so many folks from single poor income families in Australia neglected my teeth all my life and had only ever had rudimentary and stop-gap dental procedures e.g. no braces, extract rather than save, cheap crown and filling work. By my late forties I had massive amounts of work ahead to make them functional and healthy as they had been as a small child. I began testing the clinical waters with Dr Lily by some simple but necessary porcelain fillings to replace old and worn, broken amalgam fillings. First one, then another, and as the work went so effortlessly (and painlessly!) another. The first few procedures were 'so not' anxiety filled; I had only known dentist visits in Australia to be this way that I was happy to return to her six months later on another visit to Bangkok and continue our collaborative work with consultation suggestions given on my first visit at the Dental Spa. I even had my hand held during procedures when I was worried about molar extractions !!! Over the space of some years years I ended up having all my old amalgam crowns removed, implants, bridge work, veneers, extractions and presto! ... I have now straight, white, strong teeth. No 'jaw catching' problems, no rough or chipped teeth. Add to this no more gum soreness thanks to her Thai herbal Dental Hygiene System (miraculously supportive of healthy gums and increased and prolonged breathe hygiene too). I now smile at people a whole lot more and no longer have yellowed teeth (alas some of us have teeth that cannot be kept white no matter how often we have cleans and whitening). I am complimented on my lovely teeth all the time. I have now a new lease on life it seems; I chew and digest my food better and thus feel better ... Grinding my food on my molars where it's meant to be ground and not in my premolar regions due to the now filled gaps I'd had since my early school days. I could not wish to recommend a dentist or a dental team more than Bangkok Dental Spa's facilities and treatment pathways. All this was provided at a price incomparable to Western standards. All componentry and prostheses were of the highest European and American quality (unaffordable for me in my country even with medical fund coverage). The kindness, the thoughtful, the deliberate layman friendly consultation and information exchange from Dr Lily and her expert team could not be faulted by me. I was included in the decision processes and aided in these with the utmost of Thai care and kindness at all times. Thank you Dr Lily, not just for the beautiful functioning teeth I now have but for wholly improving the quality of my life.

I highly recommend a visit to the Bangkok Dental Spa, where I have been looked after so well by Dr. Lily and all the caring and friendly staff there. I have travelled there from Australia three times and am looking forward to my fourth visit in the near future to complete the work I have had done.
