This new centre brings together all the necessary technology for tumour treatment in one multifunctional room.
The proton therapy system, Proteus One®, includes a tumour scanning system to enable doctors to use the most suitable dosage in each treatment area. It has the most advanced imaging equipment and can rotate 220 degrees over the patient to apply the proton beam from any angle.

It is difficult enaugh to face a desease which leaves you with the need of a radiotherapy. Apart from, that the protone-therapy has less side-effects than the traditional radiotherapy, the whole team from doctors, nurses, to technicians made it more easy to suffer through. They always were very empathic and supportive, so you felt taken care of in the most difficult moments, when you perhaps thought of giving up. The place itself has a positive energy , thanks to the persons working there.Thank you again for all your help and support :-)) Honestly, I wonder, why Antonio Ads (Local guide) only gave you a 4 star evaluation. Having really lived the experience, I would love to give 10 stars, but only 5 are available in Google

They are FANTASTIC...we arrived from Irún to the big city, alone, with a fright in our body because of everything that happened with our son Uraitz....and we met a small family that welcomed us with open arms. We feel at home!!! The entrance to the center already made your treatment day happy...they are great, kind, close, attentive and delicate with patients and families. We arrived scared and returned home... with a very good memory because they are WONDERFUL PROFESSIONALS. We will be eternally grateful and will always remember all of them. We started treatment on May 6th, 33 sessions, a month and a half. We were thinking, "How scary!" The welcome was super pleasant, and even before we arrived, the phone calls with Ana were pleasant, informing us of any questions or concerns we had. But if we talk about how the sessions went, of course it's long and hard, but it's bearable because the whole group is there, supporting you with that love, empathy, and sweetness, giving encouragement with a pat on the shoulder. There are no words to thank the entire group who collaborated in helping us overcome this difficult time that life has imposed on us. For all of this, THANK YOU A MILLION
