I had researched for months, looking for a reputable surgeon I could trust. Traveling 18 hours from Australia on my own was daunting, but the moment I arrived, I knew I was in the best hands. I was picked up in a beautiful car, driven to my hotel, the hospital, and eventually back to the airport, all seamlessly organised. I didn’t feel like a number. I was treated like a real person, even like a friend.
Dr. Hakan was calm, kind, professional and so thorough. During the surgery, I almost panicked, and Dr Hakan, just calmed me down. The pain after surgery was honestly minimal, I’d mentally prepared for the worst, and it ended up being so much easier than I expected. I did not have ANY complications what so ever. They knew I didn’t have anyone with me so they offered me extra help.
I showed him what I wanted, and he did EXACTLY that. I’m so happy with my results and I am only a few days post op. I can’t imagine how much better they’re going to get.
A special mention to nurse Yesim, who felt like a best friend. She popped in to check on me at the hospital, reassured me, made me laugh, it’s rare to feel that cared for in a medical setting.
