We came to to Hospital Angeles from Canada for the Functional Oncology Clinic. The clinic definitely saved my husband’s life...however, you need to be prepared for less timely and reliable customer service once they get your money, and especially if you need to go back for follow-up treatments. When you try to talk to them about this, the response is, “I’m so sorry you feel this way.” No accountability and no reparation. Although they initially come across as being 100% about caring for people, please remember that it is still a business to them. It is still about the money. Just a heads up so you’re not disillusioned like we were.

Excelente servicio, fuimos mi esposo y yo a consultar a nuestro bebé con la Dra. Delia Figueroa, y todo muy bien, nos dió muchísima informació acerca del crecimiento del niño, nos explico cada cosa que hacía con él, quedamos fascinados con la atención de todo el personal... Además el consultorio está muy bonito, cuenta con juegos para que los niños se entretengan mientras uno espera.

I came here to visit a special friend of ours. She was an employee of the hospital (which we did not know) Our friend was hit by a car while walking across the street. She was hospitalized here and had surgery also. When we arrived the staff showed us to their little breakfast/lunch bistro area. We ordered some food and coffees and some tea. We were awaiting our turn to visit our friend. When we tried to pay for our meals and drinks we were told that it was on the hospital and that any friends of their employee (our friend) were friends of theirs also. We had a wonderful visit. We noticed how the great care our friend was receiving. The nurses were also amazing. What a great hospital. We are so happy to know our special friend worked there and received such professional and courteous service. Thank you...Jay

The Medical staff is great, the only corruption is the cashiers...they asked for $25,000 deposit in pesos for bringing my mom into emergencies, but didnt warn me that if i didnt give another $25,000 pesos deposit they were gonna take upstairs to the room, in total i gave they $58,000 but the bill only came out to $41,000...so i went to get the difference of $17,000 & they are acting stupid, i gave them my card to put the money back in my bank & they still havent transfered thr money...i live in Los Angeles CA...ive been calling them so they can transfer the funs but they just hang up or they say nobody is working the area...fkn fraud...the first day they had a mix up & charged my card with another patient debt. Thats how stupid they are at the cashiers!!! Dorctors are great but the staff are straight out the street..a person tells you 1 price & the person from the next shift tells you another!!

Highly recommend Dr. Lopez Corvala. I chose him for my surgical procedure after doing nearly a years worth of research. The patient care we received was far beyond what we have received during surgical procedures in the states. Hospital is the cleanest we have ever seen. Nearly all of the staff are bilingual. Language barrier was not a big issue with most of the nurses, only 1 or 2 of my nurses over my 3 day stay were unable to communicate in English, but we were still able to communicate enough with each other. The personal attention I received from Dr. Lopez-Corvala every day was so appreciated.

Junio 2018He estado en este hospital por tres cirugías programadas (no emergencia) de extremidades, con tres fechas de internaciones distintas: fractura de tibia e injerto; placa de titanio en la clavícula; retiro de metales, nuevo injerto en la tibia y reconstrucción de tibia y peroné. Apenas uno se interna, noten que Cintli es una de las personas encargadas de llevarlo a uno a su habitación. Cintli es muy anfitriona y educada. Respondió a nuestras preguntas administrativas acerca de los costos de la internación y otras preguntas también. Las habitaciones son muy limpias y están bien equipadas, son cómodas y ordenadas. El hospital está en una buena ubicación. Ofrece buena comida. El estacionamiento es algo caro incluso para el bolsillo de alguien que vive en EEUU. Hay un lugar para comer en planta baja que es razonable, de todas maneras los acompañantes o familiares tienen varias buenas opciones a solo un radio de dos cuadras. El hospital me pareció, las tres veces que estuve internado, que es bastante silencioso. Las enfermeras y el resto del personal, son profesionales y amigables. El Hospital Ángeles es el mejor o uno de los mejores hospitales en Tijuana. De hecho, es una cadena hospitalaria que tiene filiales en casi todo el territorio mexicano. Lo que sí, si uno no tiene cobertura médica local, le puede costar a uno fácilmente de $3000-5000 dls. diarios, excluyendo los honorarios del ortopedista como en mi caso, y su equipo de médicos. En mi opinión bien valió la pena.Diciembre 2019A pesar del esfuerzo de los médicos hace un año y medio, tendré que operarme nuevamente. Al unirme la pierna con una placa y ocho tornillos, aparentemente no habrán podido alinearla bien porque me quedó 20-25° torcida y desalineada de su eje. Esto me trae dolores de columna, no puedo apoyar correctamente la planta del pie, camino con dolor día a día, me tropiezo inmediatamente si intentara trotar, es estéticamente desfavorable y tengo dolores crónicos de todo tipo. Todo esto hace que no pueda hacer kinesiología y recuperar los músculos. Una verdadera pesadilla. En definitiva tendré que operarme nuevamente, esta vez en EEUU.
