They could get their Nursing staff to smile and show some compassion for patients. Had the wprsrt experience of my life in here. The only person who smiled was the girl asking for money. Hopefully never have to cross your patn agian

Had an accident while on holiday in Benidorm. My insurance company sent me to IMED Le Vante Benidorm. From my initial contact with staff in the emergency department to seeimg the Dr and nursing staff was impeccable. Staff spoke and understood english, all areas immaculately clean. Care i received was amazing.
Thank you for such a postive experience of having to receive emergency care while on holiday.

Es mal en citas con Medico cabecero. Tarde más o menos 1 mes por tener cita. Hasta en Seguridad social son solo 1 a 2 dias!! Luego Tu tiene Tu cita a las 15h y luego estan atendido a gente por orden...... porque tiene cita previa entonces? Luego hemos puesto una queja en el hospital y hasta dentro de un mes no hemos escuchado nada de ellos!! … Hospital muy informal!!

El peor servicio de urgencias de un hospital privado. he estado esperando 2horas 40 min y me he ido sin tener los resultados. el Dr. encima me ha faltado al respeto y con muy malos modales. No vuelvo a ese hospital

Absolutely outstanding service. We had travel insurance and we paid an excess of £75 all other costs were taken care of by our Insurance but this private hospital was so amazing and new, very clean, all workers are professional. Absolute exceptional service from Dr Andreas, he just went above and beyond for us and was very sweet and friendly with our children to make them comfortable. We cannot thank you enough for all your kindness.
Another special thank you to Derek on recption just outstanding and being very patient as we had to make a claim and get details with out travel insurance and he was so calm and lovely and helped us fill the forms. Thank you Dr Andreas and Derek! Xx

I've just spent 6 days/nights at the Imed after slipping in my Apartment bathroom breaking my arm & damaging a nerve. I have Never experienced unhelpful & rough~handling in all my 61 years as a Healthcare professional in the UK. Despite having a full arm/hand in plaster, only 2 members of staff offered to help me cut up food or open packets when meals were brought in packets. Staff watched me struggle to plump up pillows & still no offer of help. I had to ask for my bed to be changed after 4 days, as it was smelly (Thank God for Donna~English HCA, who also gave me a body~wash). I was woken from my operation stark naked being moved from one bed to another & had to ask to be covered up, (I had a gown on from chest down at start of op).ditto request for pain relief shortly after, as none was forthcoming. We waited over 7 hours for a Fit to Fly letter on the final day, which Nobody asked for at the Airport. Staff would bring me tablets in a pot & each time I had to ask what they were for (sometimes given in pop~out form, so difficulty accessing once again). Staff were very rough when cannula kept coming out, stabbing for more veins at the back of my hand without asking if painful. My husband was advised to go to Reception on our Floor by Patrick (Liaison man) to discuss things, only to be told to "Go downstairs to the Main Reception, we can't help you". I honestly have never encountered such rude & unhelpful staff throughout, bar the Surgeon, Isa, Manuel & Donna. The whole experience has put me off Benidorm completely, after 40+years of travelling there.I implore ANYONE to go to the General Hospital instead. This has been a truly traumatic experience.

I had pain in my lungs for several days. I got worried and suspected blood clot. I googled and became convinced, I had all symptoms. My wife drove me to IMED Levante in the morning March 19. I told the receptionist what I suspected and she took all notes. After examination and regular Xray the doctor says infektion and sent me home whith antibiotics, painkillers and expectorants (though I didn’t cough). Two days later I collapsed when I got out of bed. My wife dialled 112 an…d the ambulance took me to Marina Baixa Hospital. After thorough examination, tomography included, they found a huge blood clot (lung embolism) that influenced both lungs. After five days in intensive care unit and a few days of regular care I’m now strong enough to write this review. I’m still in hospital. A doctor should always listen to what the patient say!!!!
