Sadly I've had to be here to visit many times, but not sadly because of the hospital though that's for sure. Their staff is so tactful and kind its unreal. They are good at handling sensitive experiences and seem to love involving family with their treatment. The nurses and doctors offer their compassion when they can and will go out of their way for you whenever possible. Understand that sometimes they have a lot to deal with at the time and physically can't do everything for you at the drop of a hat but they sure try and whenever they have an opportunity they are sure to make sure you are being cared for. Thank-you for everything you do.

My wife and I just had our baby here 2 weeks ago and the staff was so awesome. She had some complications during her c section and Dr. Vaught walked in like a dang superhero. The nurses, especially Nurse Aubrey, was so kind she even stopped by to visit us even though we weren't on her shift. Excellent staff. Thank you all!

I loved this hospital back in 2006 , my son was a patient here and passed , they treated him very good. Now here it is 2025 i come here for prenatal care,/ delivered my son here by c-section. OB team is great loved them all they did great by me . But my over all experience with some of the staff mainly dietary , which is a reason i will never come back nor recommend this hospital to anyone. The lady who answers the phone is very nasty and rude to patients who call to order their food like us patients need any type of negative attitude when we dealing and focusing on the health issues we got going on already. She’s mean for no reason and to have someone like that representing your dietary team speaks a lot about the hospital it self . I was known as Mrs pittman when i use to come here with my son Rashad Pittman before he passed. I will never come back here after my son is well enough to go home. Let’s talk about postpartum unit 8th floor. I was treated horribly, i had a c- section done and gotten staples, you talking about pain, when i bath no one helped me dry my feet or put socks on, it hurt me so bad to try and bend over i had to moan and groan and cry while doing it, i had to change my own bed , they never changed my linen i had to call for sheets to change my own. my trash and linen bin was full. I complained to the nurses to everyone to the point they actually got a attitude with me because i was not letting their neglect slide. I was not getting my pressure meds when i was supposed to be getting them , they would skip a day at times. I praised this hospital to everyone, i was so happy to be at the hospital who took great care of my 1 year old son , i am so embarrassed to praise them and having to walk out in pain because i couldn’t take no more, i didn’t sign myself out i just called my fiancé and said i had enough, i was in tears in pain and they didn’t care all they wanted from me was the key that gets me on to other units smh never again. Nicu is alright with me ,

We had a wonderful surgeon, Dr Yang. His entire staff was most supportive and professional. Indeed everyone we came into contact with was friendly and helpful. My biggest criticism is the PARKING, a real nightmare. After driving hours to receive excellent care the last thing you want to face is “black hole of Calcutta “ parking garage.

I live out of state and still chose to come to Johns Hopkins and The Neurosurgical team of Dr. Michael Lim to have surgery. Best decision I ever made. I was treated with such care and honest to goodness compassion by all of the amazing nurses in the NICU. After being moved to Zayed East the same quality of care continued. I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Lim and the entire Johns Hopkins staff. I have never experienced this level of care anywhere before this…. This hospitals Neurology Department is the best of the best and I thank each and everyone of them for making my stay and surgery as comfortable as possible and for providing me with the level of care I received. I was never left alone and there was someone always on hand no matter what I needed. If I ever have any other surgery I will come to Johns Hopkins. If anyone needs Neurosurgery this is the place you need to be! Thank you Johns Hopkins!
