About the clinic

In LIV Hospital rectal cancer surgery is performed for patients with benign and cancerous intestinal tumors, Crohn's disease, diverticulitis.

The operation is carried out by an open method or endoscopically. Endoscopic intervention is performed through several incisions up to 2 cm or natural openings. The Da Vinci robot might be used to remove a portions of the rectum.

The Clinic conducts all types of resection: including APR for rectal cancer, low anterior resection, and complete removal of the organ with the output of the colostomy. The duration of the surgical procedure is 3-5 hours. After the operation, a patient spends 1-3 days in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and up to 10 days in a regular ward.

زرنا مستشفى ليف بإسطنبول بناءا على نصيحة منسقكم السيد عماد حسين و تعاملنا مع قسم الاورام هناك بمساعدة السيدة فراح الحقيقة المستشفى كان في المستوى و التعامل مع المريض كان جيد جدا وقعت مشكلة صغيرة بخصوص ثمن الاستشارة الذي وصل الى 700 اورو بسبب سوء تفاهم مع المترجم لكن تم حل المشكلة و الاكتفاء بثمن الاستشارة 90اورو شكرا على تعاونكم نعم كان فيه تعاون كبير جدا من طرف السيد عماد حسين حتى انه كان يراسلني للسؤال و للاطمئنان على صحة المريضة انسان فعال في عمله عند وعوده في الاتصال بالمستشفيات و واضح في لغته و لطيف في تعاملاته كل الشكر لكم

Coordination is very poor. At first, my mother was not met at the airport, she waited half an hour until the driver found her. Then at the hotel, which was booked for one price, they gave another, more expensive. It’s good that the transfer arrived at the clinic on time and the clinic did all the examinations. Before departure we managed to give the results of the surveys, but the overall impression is bad.

We went to the clinic for rectal adecarcenoma. Bookimed coordinator Ekaterina promptly and professionally helped organize the trip. Upon arrival at the airport, we were met by a car from Liv Hospital, taken to the booked hotel. Each transfer from the hotel to the clinic and back was carried out practically without delay. She sent for PET / CT revision made at the Korean clinic Severance Hospital, because Severance made a very dubious short description, more like an unsubscribing.
