Gastric ballooning
During the operation, doctors install a special balloon for patients, which remains in their stomach for 6-12 months. Depending on patient´s initial weight, patient can lose 10-20 kg.

Sleeve gastrectomy
Thanks to sleeve resection, the patient needs less food to feel complete. This is due to a decrease in stomach volume by approximately 80% and a decrease in ghrelin levels. This hormone is responsible for the feeling of hunger; the upper part of the stomach produces it. The final result of the operation is visible after 6 months.

Gastric bypass and revision surgery
After the procedure, patients' food flow changes, passing only through half of the small intestine.

After bariatric surgery, approximately 20% of patients may regain weight. Clinic doctors perform revision surgical interventions on them.

With the gastric balloon procedure, I lost 15 kilos and got close to my previous condition. Of course, don't expect a miracle, but you can see the benefits by supporting it with diet and exercise. First, it reduces your appetite and provides significant motivation to lose weight. The procedure is quite easy and quick. My research before the procedure revealed that people who had the procedure at various locations complained of severe nausea and vomiting in the first few days, and even some wanted to remove the balloon. Aside from mild nausea, I didn't experience any significant problems. I received dietitian support for over a year after the procedure. Unlike traditional dietitians, they implement a variable, interactive diet plan throughout the process. The dietitian contacts you periodically, even if you don't request it. This not only increases your motivation to diet but also helps prevent you from becoming bored and giving up on the diet by offering different diet options.
