Wegen Vorhofflimmern mit 5 Ablationen und 2x Herzklappen - OP mit Aortenprothese, davon einmal mit Endokarditis Behandlung und einer Herzschrittmacher Implatation wurden insgesamt 15 stationäre Aufenthalte, davon zwei Notaufnahmen innerhalb zwei Jahre notwendig. Dabei war ich in verschieden Stationen untergebracht.Die medizinische Betreuung war jederzeit hervorragend. Mein besonderer Dank gilt den Ärzteteams um Herrn Dr. Weipert, Herrn Dr. Herold und Frau Prof. Deisenhofer, ohne deren Können ich nicht mehr leben würdeDie Patientenzimmer (Ein- und Zweibettzimmer) sind prima ausgestattet, modern sauber und geräumig. Bei der Pflege gab es nie etwas auszusetzen. Das Personal war immer für einen da, freundlich und zuvorkommend; wenn's notwendig war, auch mal ein einfühlsames Wort. Ich fühlte mich nie nur als "Nummer"Ich wüsste nicht, was man da noch verbessern könnte.

Die Klinik ist an und für sich toll. Nette Ärzte, nette Schwestern, auch auf der kinderintensiv super Personal. Es wird sich nicht nur um die Kinder gut gekümmert sondern auch um die besorgten ElternAllerdings musste ich heute bei der Anmeldung eine sehr ärgerliche Erfahrung machen.Wir hatten um 8 uhr den ersten Termin heute, waren auch früh genug da um noch Zeit für die Anmeldung zu haben. Wir waren die ersten die dort heute morgen eine Nummer gezogen haben. Auch dir einzigen die sich für die Kinderambulanz anmelden wollten. Nach uns kamen nur Erwachsene Patienten.3 zuständige Damen bei der Anmeldung. Kinderambulanz, ErwachseneUnd stationäre Aufnahme.Die nette Dame die für die Kinder zuständig war, ging innerhalb einer Stunde die wir gewartet haben, mehrmals an uns vorbei, zum Rauchen, zum Kaffe, zum Frühstück holen.Wir saßen also eine Stunde da, an der Anmeldung, wo es für Kinder keine Beschäftigung gibt.Während alle Erwachsenen sich anmelden konnten. Also habe ich mich an der Information beschwert, was denn hier los ist. Schön gemütlich saß die Dame also im anmeldezimmer und hat gefrühstückt. Selbst nachdem die Dame von der Information sie darauf angesprochen hat, dass wir schon so lange warten, dauerte es nochmal 10 min bis sie uns letztendlich aufrief.Nach dem über eine Stunde verging, ich nur einen Zettel unterschreiben musste und mit diesem Zettel dann in die Ambulanz gehen durfte, konnte mein Sohn (2) dann endlich in ein Wartezimmer mit Spielsachen, wo ihm nicht mehr langweilig war. Und in der Ambulanz ging dann alles Recht schnell. Keine lange Wartezeit, nette Ärzte, nette schwestern.

Ich möchte mich, im Namen meiner ganzen Familie, bei dem gesamtem Team des DHM bedanken. Die Chirurgen haben außergewöhnliches geleistet, als unser Sohn Moritz im Oktober 2018 im HZM operiert wurde.Unser Kind im OP- Saal abgeben zu müssen, war für uns als Eltern, der schwerste Gang in unserem bisherigen Leben. Chirurgen, Radiologen, Psychologen, Schwerstern und Pfleger ... alle haben sich ausnahmslos um uns gekümmert. Und das bei der Fülle und Vielzahl schwerkranker Babies, Kinder und Erwachsenen aus dem In-und Ausland.Ganz besonders möchten wir uns bei Frau PD Dr. med. Julie Cleuziou und Herrn Dr. Dr. med. Christian Meierhofer bedanken, welche Moritz betreut, 1000 Fragen beantwortet und schließlich erfolgreich operiert haben.Auch ein großes Dankeschön an das Ronald Mc Donald Haus (samt seiner Sponsoren), welches uns die Nähe zu unserem Sohn ermöglicht hat. Es hat sehr gut getan, als Menschen und Eltern die Einrichtung in unmittelbarer Nähe nutzen zu dürfen, nicht alleine zu sein....
