Kladruby Rehabilitation Center is a state medical facility subordinate to the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic. The Clinic was built yet in 1938 and has experienced many changes during its existence. Finally it has turned into a Hospital maximum adapted for the needs of modern patients.

During its existence the Clinic was several times extended and modernized. As a result it became the Rehabilitation Center fully adapted for the patients and with the convenient communication system – sanatorium buildings are interconnected through underground corridors – that ensures comfortable transportation of the patients in any season. The canteen is adjusted for immobile patients.

Bedridden patients are primarily treated using verticalizator which helps to avoid bed sores and secure natural load on the legs; |

All these trainings and classes help the patient to master necessary skills and return to normal life.
Sport games – from table tennis to basketball – promote not only physical recovery but also the improvement of emotional condition.
Besides, the patients overcome such procedures as jacuzzi for legs, therapeutic massage, laser (for the healing of scars) and ultrasound therapy (as analgesia).
For the patients’ convenience the Department of Prosthesis provides crutches for walking, special electric wheelchairs, beds and lifts.
The Center offers single and double wards with the kitchen and bathroom adapted for the disabled patients.
