If we do have laser correction, I think we will come back to this clinic

Everything was done quickly and professionally. Everything was explained in an understandable way. Everything was done. Offered an additional service for which they did not charge extra, although we were not aware that this could also be included in the price. Did not impose any further services. Told us objectively what could be done and what could not be done. In the past they always tried to impose operations on us, scaring us with the consequences. But here everything was clearly described and it was explained that the operation was not necessary at all. That is, they didn't try to sell us an extra one. A bit more toilets:). The women's one on our floor was occupied for a long time.

Overall, we are pleased with both the trip and the attitude of the medical staff towards us

I really liked the entire organization of my treatment, starting with the search and offer of a clinic, the organization and coordination of the trip itself. The coordinator from Bookimed, Tatyana, was always in touch and answered all our questions on time. Upon arrival at the airport, we missed (through no fault of our own) the taxi that was supposed to take us to our already reserved hotel. But Tatyana was able to coordinate all the actions so that we easily got to the hotel. Later we called our medical coordinator from the “Veni Vidi” clinic, Olga, who was in touch with us all the time, both during the consultation with Dr. Firat HELVACIOGLU, and during treatment (keratoconus). Olga was ready to translate our conversation (Turkish-Russian languages) with the doctor, but since Doctor Firat speaks excellent English, in which it was more convenient for me to communicate, there was no need for translation. Overall, we are pleased with both the trip and the attitude of the medical staff towards us. We express our gratitude for all this to both Tatyana and Olga. I contacted the clinic via Bookimed.com before arrival and supplied them with my medical reports. They picked me up from the airport and sent me to my hotel. I requested having eye lens laser replacement asap so I can go back home a week after the operation. I arrived at the clinic early morning and was received by Anastasia, a health assistant supporting the patients and helping with the translation. I did all the pre operations test and then met with Dr. Remzi Karadag. He checked my test results and performed more tests, then confirmed my suitability for the operation. I had one eye operated on same day and the other eye the next day. I was issued with eye drops and information on how to look after my eyes during convalescence. A week on, so far so good. I am not using glasses anymore but full restoration of vision will take a month or maybe more. There are cases when the diagnosis is clear and people are looking for a specific doctor, but in my case, 5 years of neurological suffering, various treatments and spent funds did not help to identify the disease, everything only got worse. I went to Veni Vidi Goz Antalya for a laser eye surgery. Unfortunately I couldn’t do the surgery due to my thin cornea. However I had a great experience interacting with the staff. I got a detailed explanation on why I couldn’t do the surgery as well as possible alternatives. Dr Ugur Balci and Ania Sebai were amazing. I’m still considering the alternative option I was offered and hope to go back to the clinic when I eventually make a decision. Read more less
