My father’s Cancer treatment is ongoing in Max since February. Initially he had to undergo a brain tumor surgery and then Chemotherapy, immunotherapy and radiotherapy which are now a routine process. He had to admit twice so far, and both the times our experience was good. The doctors are expert in their area, nurses are very helpful and proactive. Housekeeping is just one call away. The cleanliness and professionalism is the heighlight. It’s very expensive, but you get what you paid for. The billing/invoicing needs to be improved, they are understaffed, it consumes a lots of time to clear the bills.
I would like to mention Sunita ma'am -the discharge coordinator who is very friendly and helpful. She facilitated everything during our discharge, made sure we leave with everything needed. She went above and beyond to arrange PET scan films and CD which somehow got missed which was really helpful.
Overall Max is a reputed hospital with expert doctors and staff and advance technologies, but its not cheap.

Had a very friendly and fantastic experience with Dr. Sahay. His coordinator Mr. Ajay was very helpful and receptive. We were put up at room No. 1703 and the support staff, medical and non medical were fabulous and dealt all our request with patience. Kudos to the staff.
Suggestions. Needs a bit of infrastructure upgrade like quicker lift. Also need to monitor night time noise in the corridor which primarily comes from visitors and attendants.

Extremely Disappointing Emergency Services
I had a highly unpleasant experience with the emergency services at Max Hospital. Despite the urgency of the situation, the staff kept delaying the necessary care. However, when we requested discharge, they suddenly became extremely active, seemingly to intimidate us.
The billing practices were also concerning. We were charged ₹12,000 for just two hours, and upon reviewing the bill, we noticed two injections worth ₹4,000 each that were never administered. When we questioned this, the staff admitted it was a "mistake" and refunded the amount. This raises serious concerns about their billing transparency.
Additionally, the presence of multiple bouncers appeared to be an attempt to intimidate patients and their families rather than ensure security. Any time spent in discussions or clarifications was also added to the bill, making the experience feel more like a financial trap than a healthcare service.
This experience has left me deeply disappointed, and I would urge others to be extremely cautious when dealing with their emergency services. Transparency and patient care should be the priority—not intimidation and overcharging.

Very Very Poor Experience overall, especially with Dr. Deepak Lahoti & assistant (Gastroenterologist).Never ever going to white collar looter hospital. Kept on asking to take repeated tests aimlessly just to make money. Made us spent lakhs of rupees merely on tests (& repeated tests) but no conclusion or proper action plan based on it. Worst behaviour possible is exhibited.Never ever recommending them.May God bring to justice those who loot middle & lower middle class families in the name of useless tests & unnecessary procedures. White collar looters.
