I visited this hospital and met Dr Emel Peru Yucel. My review is therefore related to my experience with Dr Yucel only. The hospital was clean and reception was ok. Meeting the doctor was the same as meeting a doctor in a free governmental hospital where there is rush and the doctor don’t consider a personal checkup. I had issue with my throat and only for the information of the doctor, I have a bit of history that I previously had sinus surgery. The doctor asked for a CT Scan of my head and later, she said that my sinuses are ok without any comments on my throat, or trying to understand what I came for. She did not speak any English and passively pushed the interpreter to finish questions. I thought the issue could be related to the doctor but after seeing reviews on Google, it appears that the hospital suffers from poor management and quality assurance. Since prices are expensive, I would expect a better service deserving the money charged.

Hello, I was going to have a nose surgery at Medicana Hospital in Sivasta, with a doctor named Emel Peru Yücel, everything was okay. I was examined and my bloods were to be taken, but since he was not in the hospital that day, he said that another doctor would take my bloods and that the surgery would be the next day. While having my bloods taken, I had the preliminary examination done by the other doctor, since he was not there, I had questions and I asked my doctor these, and these were told to my doctor. The day of my surgery, I was very scared because of the pain and discomfort. I told my own doctor these things and he even said that I did not trust him and that I could be on the surgery table. When I asked if I would have breathing problems through my nose, he said maybe, he said my nose could collapse, crooked or deviated. If that is going to happen, why am I paying so much money? Also, he kept saying he could cancel my surgery, he literally did not want it, I left the hospital in tears and the deposit I paid was wasted, we are literally being disgraced with our money.

We went to Sivas Medicana Hospital for a consultation with Obstetrician Ayşegül Altuntaş. I was five months pregnant and wanted to find out the sex of our baby, but the doctor explained that the baby was sitting cross-legged and couldn't tell the gender. While such situations can certainly happen, we unfortunately didn't receive the care and friendly service we expected. We didn't feel valued, and we would have expected a more understanding and informative approach during this process. The service we received was inadequate for the price we paid, so we regretted going. I wanted to share this information to prevent others from experiencing similar disappointments.

On July 24, 2025, I was examined by a doctor named Kerime NAZLI SALİHOĞLU for a gynecology and obstetrics exam in the morning. She told me I needed to take blood and urine tests, so I ordered them. At 2:00 PM, I went to get the results. I waited for about two hours during this waiting period. I told her I had a small child and that she was fussy. I went to her three times and she told me to wait. She said there was a problem and didn't give me the results. If there was a problem, why did you order a test and make me wait for two hours? Could you please show some empathy? It was rude to make a mother with a child wait two hours and send her away after claiming she had a problem. I do not find this approach ethical. I called the hospital management and explained this situation and they said I should write a petition and they would evaluate it. (I understand that the device may malfunction, but I paid 2400 TL for the test and it was said to be defective, but I did not get any results. You could have compensated and got another test, but your approach and tone were not like that, I do not want anything from you anymore. Paying for the test and not getting any results is not how you value the patient. I will not go to your hospital again, I experienced that your priority is not health, I expected a solution-oriented, moderate approach. I wrote a petition and am waiting for the result, I will share it here again.

Today, August 9, 2025, at 3:21 PM, the female secretary at the radiology department hung up on me. It was completely rude. They told me my mother had an MRI on August 1st that the results would be available in four days. I called yesterday and they said they would call me back the next day during business hours to let me know. When no one called, I called again and they said she would be available on the 11th, and then they hung up on me. Because of this rudeness, we're giving up on having my mother's surgery there.
