I scheduled an online consultation with Quartz Clinic and they canceled twice at the last minute. The explanation given was that “surgeries have more opportunities than appointments,” which essentially means consultations—and patient time—are treated as disposable. As a surgeon myself, I understand the demands of the operating room, but professionalism requires honoring patient commitments. I rearranged my own clinical schedule for these consultations, only to be disregarded without any serious effort to accommodate me. This kind of disorganization and lack of respect for patients is unacceptable. If you value your time and expect professionalism, I would strongly caution against relying on this clinic.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but I feel a responsibility to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. I went to Quartz Clinique for a cosmetic procedure with Dr. Leyla Arvas. During my consultation, I was told the procedure would be done under local anesthesia, that I would be awake, and that I could provide input to ensure the results matched my expectations. Based on this, I felt comfortable moving forward. However, on the day of the procedure, I was unexpectedly put under general anesthesia without my consent. When I woke up, the results were nothing like what we had discussed. I was devastated, and when I asked for correction, I was told to come back the next day. Instead of correcting the outcome, the staff tried to convince me it wasn’t as bad as it looked. This has been a deeply painful and disappointing experience, both emotionally and financially. I feel scammed and taken advantage of, and I would strongly urge anyone considering Quartz Clinique or Dr. Arvas to be cautious and to get everything in writing.
