I will immediately say thanks to Bookimed for the initial organization of the referral to the clinic, and personally to the manager Svetlana! About 2 months before the trip, I agreed on the desired date for hair transplantation. About 2 weeks before the trip, I contacted the coordinator at the clinic itself, she is also a translator - Anna, thank you very much! She gave me important recommendations and an algorithm for meeting the driver at the airport. At the Istanbul airport, I immediately took a little cash at least to pay for food in the hotel room (next to the 9th exit from the Airport, there are ATMs a little further, I took 290 liras from the HSBC ATM, 10 liras commission from Tinkoff - there was no more at the ATM, so it would be no commission). About 2 months before the trip, I agreed on the desired date for hair transplantation. She gave me important recommendations and an algorithm for meeting the driver at the airport. About 2 months before the trip, I agreed on the desired date for hair transplantation. I cannot put into words how amazed I am at the results of my surgery & what it has done for me, it has literally given me my life back
The whole experience from the initial contact with bookimed & Zekra my medical coordinator was fantastic, the care, support & attention to every question asked was faultless. When I was connected to the Lokman Hekim hospital and Dr Yaman I then had a video call with him aided by the interpreter Ismail where my surgery was discussed in detail. Upon arrival in Istanbul we were met by our transfer & taken directly to the hospital where we were met by Ismail who helped us get booked in & settled, I then had various pre op tests ready for surgery the next morning. The hospital room was like a luxury hotel room & immaculately clean. The morning of my surgery I met the doctor who was a lovely, friendly man & put me at ease immediately, the after care after the surgery was excellent & the medical staff were amazing. The following day we were taken to our hotel which for 3 nights were included in the price, we decided to stay for an extra 5 nights, the hotel was lovely & the staff were very accommodating & helpful. I had various visits to the hospital who provided transport to & from the hotel & every visit we were met at the door by Ismail & taken to see Dr Yaman. I had one last appointment with him on the morning we were flying home when the stitches were removed, we were then taken to the airport. I cannot put into words how amazed I am at the results of my surgery & what it has done for me, it has literally given me my life back. I can’t praise the whole experience enough & I am so grateful to Zekra, Ismail & especially Dr Yaman.

I was on 29 September 2025 at Lockman hekim clinic for breast and eyelid reduction.All my fears and doubts were in vain.

We arrived very early, we were taken to the clinic and our interpreter Olga was already in touch with us. We were placed in a beautifully decorated room, on the same day all the necessary medical parameters were taken. The doctor clearly explained what would happen and how it would be done.
We were in the clinic for 3 days and then to the hotel. It was also clean, beautifully designed, rich breakfast.
I recommend Lokman Hekim and Dr Marat Yaman if you want to change your appearance.

The hotel is spectacularly clean and modern, my surgeon DR Emre GUNBER is a perfectionist and the work he done to my nose after 2 failed rhinoplasty’s is incredible! Many surgeons I spoke to previously wouldn’t even take it on, He was honest from the start and said it was a high risk surgery. But I’m amazed at the results and the after care and advice given! Would highley recommend my surgeon for any ENT operations and would highly recommend the hospital and booking.med as a whole.

I would definitely recommend this hospital and all the staff, I could not recommend them highly enough
The great experiance started from pick up from airport with private comfortable taxi to hotel, and the next day the taxi to hospital. The hospital was first class, clean to such a high standard with exceptional treatment and care, from everyone looking after us we could not fault it in anyway.
The surgeon, anathesist, nurses and the interpretor, were all amazing, all looked after me so well and discussed everything that was going to happen and carried out several tests, l felt very comfortable in their hands and their hospital, my private room was amazing. My husband stayed in the hospital the whole time with me, where they catered for his needs, sleeping the night and supplying his food and drinks, making us both feel very comfortable. I would definately recommend this hospital and all the staff, l could not reccomend them highly enough. I will if l need more treatment, definately go back there.
Finished with private taxi to airport, at no extra cost.

We were brought straight to the hospital after arriving. Good transfer! Olga, our interpreter, met us at the hospital.
She was not only an interpreter but also a counsellor on many issues in Istanbul, as it was the first time we had been here. In the evening we took a blood test and in the morning I was operated. I came out of the anaesthesia easily, already in a new image. The doctor was very attentive, both before the operation, during the examination, and after. Service staff, very nice nurses, even though I did not understand them, but smiled doing their job and did not embarrass me. In the hospital I was with my husband only two nights, I felt good and we moved to the hotel (room large, clean with breakfast included!). We went to the dressing. There was always a transfer!
Additionally I want to add about Istanbul - it is very interesting and mysterious city fairy tale!

Dr Murat has magic in his hands
We felt very comfortable from the moment we arrived at Istanbul airport, where they were waiting for us and took us to the hospital.
