Hair Clinic: Patients Reviews and Experience

My wife made a surprise - a trip to Turkey and a hair transplant. I found out about this within a few hours. I liked the clinic. We met at the airport. True, there was a tire puncture and we sold it in about 40 minutes. We were given 5 stars. Quite good with a good breakfast. It is not located in the very center, but getting there by taxi is no problem. About 20 minutes. The transplant took about 6 hours. First, they take blood for analysis. AIDS and all that. Then they shave. Next, a lot of anesthesia is injected into the donor area. 30 injections. More unpleasant than painful. Then they begin to shave and pull out the follicles. They said they took 4500. I didn’t count. Next, about 30 injections into the transplant area. Well, they start planting follicles like mushrooms. It feels like you're piercing cardboard with a pen. No pain. Between procedures they provide excellent food. Then bandage and go home. This is the most unpleasant and painful topic an hour before the end. The painkillers began to wear off and this was much worse than the injections themselves. But everything is tolerable. Childbirth is probably more painful. I liked everything except the woman doctor. She addressed me not as a patient, but as a bad boss addressing a subordinate. Always twice, but that was enough for me. "Mister, stand up!" the tone of the German officer is not exactly what I would like to hear. But the translator Olga worked 200%. She still supervises me and is always in touch. The director is a great guy. By the way, the assistant is also great. I recommend the clinic. The wife is smart. A good choice and most importantly, they didn’t try to bully me about the need for two trips for an amount many times more than I paid. I will see the result only in a year. In the meantime, only 12 days have passed. And, for the first time, it will be very difficult to sleep on your back. It's not a dream. You need to make sure you don’t scratch your head, lie down on it, and so on. But it's worth it. Good luck.

The stay in the clinic went well, all the time while the operation was going on, I listened to Turkish music. The doctors worked calmly and confidently, it is clear that they already have experience. The ward is ordinary, everything you need was there and nothing more.

High level of organization, caring attitude of the clinic staff, the operation is not very painful. I hope the end result after 8 months will also be good.

Despite the preliminary written and oral instructions, the clinic staff completely ignored the recommendations and, as a result, took almost 2 times more grafts than indicated. Thus, they simply destroyed my donor zone, left a bald spot that cannot be hidden by anything. Besides, it didn’t even make any sense, there was simply no need to transplant so much. Moreover, for some reason they planted places where there was already hair (from the previous transplant), while practically not touching the empty places. The hairline, despite the specific written and agreed wishes, was made as unnatural as possible by transplanting grafts with 3-4 hairs. In my opinion, in all aspects, the result of the "work" of this clinic looks simply sad. I think these people should be banned from working.

Good evening, I was in this clinic from 12/22/2021 to 12/25/2021, I really liked the service, the staff and the clinic itself at the highest level. We were met at the airport, a gorgeous transfer, taken directly to the clinic, took all the necessary tests, after which they immediately performed the operation, after the operation they were taken to a 5-star hotel, personally taken by the director. I express my special gratitude to Olga, she is an employee of the clinic - an interpreter who accompanied me at all stages, told and showed everything, a very good, kind girl. After the operation, I walked around Istanbul for 2 more days, on the second day they did a head wash, provided all the necessary care products, on the last day a transfer took me to the airport. In general, everyone who is thinking of carrying out this operation, I can confidently advise this clinic, the guys are great, they are working off their money with full. thank you very much

I am from Witney, Oxfordshire in the UK and I went to Hair for a beard and hair transplant and I cannot rate the professional service received from all members of the team highly enough. I am writing this review in my hotel room the day after having a beard and hair transplant. When I first decided to undergo a hair​ transplant in Turkey, I was inundated with offers from, what seemed to be, hundreds of hair transplant clinics through WhatsApp, and it was hard to know which clinics were the best? I decided to pick Hair in Istanbul, because I could see no negatives reviews and they were recommended to me by Bookimed. I then heavily researched this clinic online before making a decision. I could tell once I met with the medical team that I had made a good choice on coming to this clinic. This is a good clinic, and the medical team who carried out the procedure were highly skilled, professional, and considerate. Once, they started taking grafts I could tell these people know what they were doing. On my initial WhatsApp consultation, I was told they would be able to extract 3000 grafts but, they actually extracted 4800 and so they implanted some additional grafts in the crown area of my head free of charge. They implanted every single graft in which meant they took longer than scheduled. I will send the photographic results of my hair and beard transplant after 6 months has passed. The medical team was efficient but the language barrier means that there is little to no communication with them. All communication is via the marketing/ contact person who, of course, cannot be with you during the entire day of the procedure. I think it would be helpful for all patients to receive a written breakdown of the day and follow-up day, prior to arriving at the clinic to help them to mentally prepare themselves but also to better understand what to expect during, and also in the days and weeks following the procedure.

I thought it would be somehow different, but here it is easier to relate to everything. On the 1st floor, they accepted, took the money, through the office there are already chambers where the procedures are carried out directly.
