Hisar Hospital Intercontinental: Patients Reviews and Experience

I turned to Bokimed to organise a trip to Turkey for medical diagnostics. The company proved to be a reliable partner: they helped me at every stage - from preparing the trip to accompanying me on the spot. Thanks to the attentive customer service, all issues were resolved quickly and professionally. The diagnostics were carried out with high quality, and I felt supported throughout the entire process. Very pleased with the attitude towards patients. The staff was polite and courteous. They responded quickly to all my needs. They suggested the best alternative treatment and were very tactful during the operation. The operation was done under local anaesthesia, and painkillers have very little effect on me, but the doctor was very sensitive and understanding of my condition and patiently waited and increased the dose of anaesthesia until the action started. And during the whole operation constantly asked about my condition and even on small reactions of pain, which were reflected apparently in my face immediately responded. And the assistants (nurses) were close by, giving emotional support. I would especially like to mention the attitude of the interpreter Rabia, who was always in touch with me throughout my stay and answered at any time of the day, despite the workload I saw. This is very human of her when you don't know anything and don't know the language. I would like to thank the clinic and all the medical staff for the help provided and for the sensitive attitude towards each client.

Everything is fine. There was a slight delay in the transfer upon arrival at the airport. Then they arrived promptly, the drivers were polite, the cars were clean. The hotel is a little far away, but nice, spacious room, clean. There were not enough slippers in the hotel, otherwise everything was fine, the staff was helpful. I underwent PET CT diagnostics with gallium 68, the examination was carried out perfectly. Special thanks to the coordinators of Bookimed and the clinic, and the translator. The consultation with the doctor was easy and instilled confidence and calm. It would be nice to get a translation of the conclusion in Russian or English right away.

Excellent transfer, even from the bus station, hotel included in the price, almost like a separate apartment, very smiling and always helpful staff, excellent translator, clinic administrator. Liked everything. They expect me to check in in six months. I will definitely go to them.

I was really nervous about a new breast lump that developed. I reached out to Book I med and explained my situation. I was directed to Hisar Intercontinental Hospital. They did biopsy, ultrasound and PET scan. Although I wanted surgery, doctor explained it wasn't in my best interest and recommended medication instead. Doctors were careful to come up with plan, they didn't rush to make decisions. I had a medical coordinator who assisted in transportation to and from hospital and coordinating tests and doctor visits. I was also assigned an interpreter for Turkish to English.They were both wonderful and it was nice to have assistance and smiling faces when I arrived. They always took time to listen to concerns and answer questions. I met with 2 doctors, a breast cancer surgeon and oncologist. They both were professional and friendly. They met with a tumor board of physicians to discuss my plan.I feel like I got professional care and good treatment plan. The hospital was clean and modern. They did a good job with the tests, I didn't feel any pain from the doctor who did my biopsy. Believe me when you have something as scary as a breast lump you want to be in good hands.I paid for each test and medication individually with credit card. I was told the cost before each purchase. Even though the whole bill wasn't cheap, it's much much lower cost than I could get in United States. As a self pay patient I am glad for that also. So overall even though I was struggling with something really bad(tumor) I feel like I got great and professional care at a decent price. I would truly recommend this to anyone. And Turkey is such a beautiful country with friendly people. There is hidden artwork everywhere. So even though I am going through this ordeal being in beautiful Turkey makes it not so bad. The food here is really good and cheap. I'm staying in Old city which has tons of Cafe restaurants. In your spare time just sitting at a Cafe and watching the myriad of people walking by is fun. I am confident I am going to beat this breast tumor with the help of the wonderful care given at Hisar Intercontinental Hospital.

Everything was well organised. From the first call to bookimed until the completion of all procedures. Everything was organized impeccably. Special thanks to my medical coordinator Alexandra, she was constantly in touch and solved all the questions that arose instantly. Thanks a lot!!!

Hello. As for the clinic, I can say that it is not bad for its price. We did a PET CT procedure + a doctor's consultation, but the clinic wanted to charge us a separate fee for a doctor's consultation, but we came to an agreement and did not pay anything. Clinic 6 out of 10. Separately, I note that Very good advice from the operators of the Bookimed website

The hospital has no good travel connections About 3 times we have been struggling to get a taxi for me and my mother after 6 pm, my mother is 80 years old and she had waited for 2 hours to get a taxi, I spoke with the international office without any help Some areas in the hospital does not have AC They don’t have a real sense of Multidisciplinary meeting My understanding of MDM is that the consultants meet together Take the decision and and pass it to the patient by one of them rather than the patient moves from one consultant to another Without clear outcome

...I liked the good level of organisation of my medical examinations. Fast, punctual, high quality! Responsive and friendly medical staff, good work of medical coordinators and interpreter. I am pleasantly impressed! I recommend it to everyone!

I appreciate the quick answer and avability of the exam at the dates i was in Istambul. Good service airport transfert and accomodation in a city where yu feel lost. The people at the hospital pas efficient, and the exam went well. Or suppose so. Some little things are les noticable when you have important exam. - forget to pick-up me at hotel. - came for a consultation ans doctor was not there.... - not sure the oncologist looked at rhe pictures closely. I have no idea of the quality of report. Can tell more after other consultation with a health-professional. But my choice to do this exam in this hospital is i think a good décision. I will recommand it.
