Everything was very much appreciated. From airport transfer to airport transfer. All questions were solved as quickly and efficiently as possible. The operation itself was perfect, the result exceeded expectations. I would also like to mention the interpreter Varvara, a very nice girl who is always on the phone and answers all questions.

I would like to share my experience about breast augmentation surgery performed at the Dr.Med.
Dr. clinic. Hakan Teymur, the surgeon who performed the operation, is a very attentive and tactful doctor. I completely trusted him and the result exceeded my expectations.
The clinic’s consultants are always in touch. They will answer all questions. Muhlise, Narmina, Semra, thank you very much for your work. The organization, transfer, accommodation are all excellent!
Now about the hospital where the operation was performed: Very clean, comfortable room. Special thanks to the night shift of doctors who were on duty the night after the operation. I don’t know your names, but I felt cared for despite the language barrier.

Upon arrival, we were met by a transfer, a very polite man) settled in the hotel. The next day we went to the clinic. The operation went quickly and the doctor Ece Kayafatlar has golden hands. Did everything I wanted❤️ Answered all my questions. After the operation, I went to the clinic for examination twice. The staff is very polite. The hospital is clean and warm. They really took their 5 * to the hotel, well, this is already according to their preferences. Our translator Elina was also very attentive and went to any of our proposals. We're flying back tomorrow. I recommend the clinic as well as the doctor.

A professional surgeon is a master of his craft with tremendous experience and excellent skills, a very caring and educated staff, a good mental interpreter-assistant. The location is convenient, close to a huge shopping center and many cafes and eateries. Metro 10 minutes walk. Next to the clinic on the corner are delicious chestnuts and fresh juice. Experienced before the trip, but in vain. Eight days spent in Istanbul was not enough. The clinic is above all praise, the city is fabulous. 10 points out of 10 :)

I stayed at the clinic for 6 days, good conditions, separate room, 3 meals a day. The medical staff was always on the phone, they helped in any situation. I was surprised that manipulations with blood (taking analyses, treatment of stitches after surgery) are carried out without disposable gloves, for this a huge minus. Consultations with the doctor were also very fast, he was always in a hurry. I had a lot of questions, but half of them remained unanswered. He does his job, but especially does not explain or tell anything. For me this is also a disadvantage.

Many thanks to the Bookimed platform! I decided to have a mastopexy, wrote, and immediately received an answer. I sent photos and the name of the doctor I chose myself (by reading comments on various pages on the Internet and looking at the work) and received a response from the doctor a few days later with the estimated cost. The price already included everything (transfer from the airport to/from the hotel with breakfast, stay at the clinic + the operation itself, linen, translator, transfer between the clinic and the hotel). Fortunately, you could take an escort with you. My sister came with me. After the operation, I was glad that I was not flying alone. The next day after the operation I was discharged. This is where help was needed: getting out of bed, bringing food to the hotel, washing, etc. My sister's stay was free. After arriving home, the translator remained in touch for another month (until there were no more questions left). My doctor was Mr. Ergin Er. A professional in his field and simply a charismatic man :-) I am writing this comment a month after the operation. I'm happy with the result! Everything went as I had imagined: I was calm and completely relied on the doctor and his experience. (before making the decision, of course, I re-read everything about this type of operation, implants and risks). Rehabilitation, of course, is not an easy task, but if necessary, then you have to be patient!! That’s what I did, following the doctor’s recommendations. In general, you need to suffer for a month and wow, you with beautiful breasts! I continue to apply contratubex to the seams, and every time I admire my breasts in the mirror! I wish all girls and women to remain beautiful!

The only complaint I have is about the app bookmed, because there were translation errors and some misunderstanding, so the hospital and doctor charged me 1000 (one thousand euros) more for the intervention that I had requested, and that the hospital and boerdonam took pity and charged me less than what would be the real value, thanks to the doctor and hospital, but beware of the translation or interpreter of the app bookmed.

I had excellent communication from Bookimed with regards to information on how to find out more about having surgery abroad. My medical co-ordinator was always just a quick text message away and answered any and all of my queries quickly and professionally. I settled on a particular surgeon, hospital, hotel and price. I paid the required deposit and flew out to Istanbul on the agreed date. As promised, I was met at the airport and taken by car to the hotel, signed in and shown to my room. The next day as arranged, I was picked up from the hotel and taken to Hisar Hospital Intercontinental for the pre-op tests and met with my surgeon to discuss and go over everything. The interpreter was always on hand to help with any language problems. The surgeon was very nice, professional and informative. About 30 mins after paying the outstanding balance I was told there seemed to be a problem regarding the cost of the procedure I was having. The upshot was, they expected me to pay 1500 euro on top of the agreed sum of 5000 euro which I'd already paid. Even though I provided copies of the text messages which outlined what was included in the procedure. I was shown into an office where it was made clear that if I didn't pay this extra sum, there would be no operation. I managed to get the sum reduced to 500 euro, but felt I had been forced/tricked/mugged into handing over more money than was agreed with Bookimed. The hospital blamed Bookimed, saying they should have been more explicit in their description of what's included in that particular procedure, even though one of the messages from the surgeon outlined the exact details of the procedure! I am disgusted at how I was treated and expect something to be done about it. I do want to point out that my treatment from the hospital nursing staff and my surgeon was wonderful, but be it the fault of the hospital admin department or Bookimed, this type of thing like this needs to be rectified. I won't ever use or recommend either establishment again.

Before finding you, I had experience communicating with two organizations that provide services in the field of medical tourism, but unfortunately, commerce and the desire to sell specific specialists without options is alarming and does not inspire confidence at all. On the other hand, I’m even glad that I had such a short communication experience, especially since I was able to evaluate the capabilities of Bookimed! Hello, first of all I would like to thank the personal doctor coordinator Ekaterina for organizing rhinoseptoplasty surgery for my son. My son had a serious fracture of the nasal septum as a child. I wanted to see otolaryngologist Suleiman Hilmi Yilmaz at the Khizar clinic. She quickly organized everything. The coordinator at the clinic, Khizar Maria, also organized everything for us at the highest level. Operation was successfully completed. Thank you! 👍🏻
The main operation was successful; the son did not feel any pain. After the operation in the evening, the nurse took such care that there was swelling, but there was almost no hemotomy. It's a pity that I don't know his name. But he didn't sleep all night.

I had a number of small hiccups that made the overall experience a little frustrating. However the medical staff and treatment itself was fantastic and exactly what I wanted.
The issues I had were as follows:
- Repeated quotes from the hospital for the treatment varying by a large amount across the whole experience.
- As I had never been to Turkey before, I arranged a few nights stay in private accommodation on either side of the surgery. This made sense to me but seemed to cause consistent confusion with the transport organisers and the hospital as to where I was being picked up and collected to and from.
- I had multiple smaller issues with the Mercure hotel but these were solved by the staff on reception.
All that said, Hisar Hospital itself was excellent. Very clean, very efficient service and I had a great translator that looked after me during my stay. I could tell the staff there were very experienced and gave me great care at all times. My surgery itself also went ahead as planned with no hiccups and so far I'm very happy with the result!
