Istanbul Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Center: Patients Reviews and Experience

This review is information to help the clinic improve their services. The surgeon was knowledgeable. The nursing staff is not available for anything but doing your vitals. They don’t even ask if you want any water. I was feeling nauseous and dizzy and there was no juice or crackers available. When you could get it, you had to pay for it. The biggest issue is the nurse’s help button is against the wall which is obviously hard to get to when you can’t get out of the bed especially right after the surgery. The button should be on the hospital bed. At one point I was left without a hospital gown and the nurse never came back to give me a new one! Another issue was the hotel room that was given to me had paper thin walls and therefore could never get a proper sleep. I could hear EVERYTHING that was happening in the room and the restaurant beside me! I couldn’t change rooms because I just had the surgery and was not able to repack my stuff and move.

The transfer from the airport was poorly organised. For someone travelling like this for the first time, it's stressful. Apart from that, everything was fine. I can recommend the clinic. The doctor is a very good specialist and a friendly person.

This procedure was on my mind for over 3 years, but I was scared shitless to move forward with it since I've heard a number of unfortunate stories. I had blood clotting issue during pregnancy, so I was extremely worried. Thankfully, Bookimed responded all my questions in a timely manner and with care. Calling me "dear" in every sentence was a bit too much for me, but I knew I was being taken care of. I was mostly surprised that all they needed was my flight info to confirm the appointment, not down payment. That made me feel more at ease to know that it was legitimate. Later, I was contacted by the Istanbul Aesthetic Center's liaison, who was fluent in English and explained everything in detail. Dr. Ergin Er suggested a full tummy tuck instead of a mini one to give the best result once he examined in person, and I'm glad that I did. I can barely see the stretch marks and haven't seen my stomach this flat in years. The disappointing part was when I couldn't get the vaser liposuction on my arms because there's not much fat to extract. I thought my arms are huge but apparently not fatty. Instead of operating for just money, I appreciated the doctor for his transparency. He mentioned it would only give a 30% difference, and it wouldn't be worth of getting scars. At least knowing it from a professional inspired me to focus my workout on my arms instead if second guessing "what-if" if I never took this route. Hence, my procedure changed but the price stayed the same since it deducted arms but upgraded to a full tummy tuck. From the airport pick up to the post-operation, everything was well-planned. I was well-taken care by the nurses and the drivers as well. As the liaison mentioned the nurses aren't fluent English speakers but that didn't stop me from being taken care of. I'm still recovering but am very hopeful that the result will be better than I expected.

Hi just wanted to say that everyone were so welcoming, caring and gentle. It’s my first experience in cosmetic surgery I did low belly fat liposuction and breast reduction, it’s my first time here in Turkey, I came alone but not for a moment I felt alone. The medical team is truly incredible, Dr. Ergin Er and so caring and very attentive through the way he speaks with me, the advice, his honesty, it even made me have more confidence in myself. This intervention was very important for me he is an excellent doctor thank you very much Dr. The welcome from the entire Clinic was warm. The nurses are very gentle, even with the language barrier. The day nurses were great, My night nurse Ayse was a rare gem, very attentive, very empathetic, thank you very much Ayse. 🫶🏽 Thank you to the amazing women the nurse Merve ❤️who did my drainage lymphatic massage, she came to the hotel to do it, she helped me a looooot she is so gentle, she is the best!! After a liposuction it’s very the best combination to heal after just 1 massage I was feeling so much better I did 5 massage in all because I had to go back home but this massage reduced my oedema so quickly thank you so much. Thank you very much for the organization, my coordinator Beatriz Ramos was so lovely she helped me a lot sometimes I was so anxious but she always were available for me while answering my questions. Whether with the driver who came to pick me up from the airport, the hotel, the translator Dileke. I recommend this clinic at 100%. ☺️💐

I am grateful to the manager Alexey, from Bookimed, for the support and assistance provided during my stay in Turkey. It's been a month since my surgery. The opinion about the clinic leaves much to be desired. The level is low, everything is very sherpotrebno. A simple conveyor without attention to patients and a turnover of op. There was no consultation as such, no one even asked me anything, the doctor just examined me, drew crooked circles at the waist, laid me down and did not even warn me that they were already immersed in anesthesia, even in the public corridor. When I woke up after the operation, they told me that for the BBL procedure they did not have enough fat taken from my stomach, although it was possible to take it from other places, it would definitely be enough, but no one spoke about this at the consultation. WAKE UP FROM ANESTHESIA! I did not get the desired result, for which I would have paid extra if the doctor had warned me about this during the consultation. The junior medical staff is not very experienced, it seemed to me, since everyone had a problem getting into a vein, they punctured all their arms and legs, at night it was very noisy in the corridor, just a bird market because of the nurses, I couldn’t sleep at all for 2 days. The doctor came into the ward for an examination, from the street in outerwear, even without a bathrobe! Inspected my stitches without gloves and with a strong cigarette smell. On the pain that arose from the previous operation due to edema, they told me that it seems to you and I just panic. There is no diet food in the clinic, which should always be after the operation. They feed 3 times a day, but heavy carbohydrates are the national Turkish food, there is no other way to order food for your money. They did not even take into account the documents that I sent in advance, that I have intolerance to some products. I stayed hungry and had bowel problems from the antibiotics! After the first day when I needed medical help and I still could not stand on my feet, they wanted me to go to the hotel, although according to the contract there should have been two days. As for the transfer, I had to force them every time and demand it. During the rehabilitation period, I’m already at home, at the moment I have a hematoma in the inside of the buttocks, to which they answered me in correspondence just to smear with bipanthen, which will not help for these purposes. This is called after operation support! In Ukraine, I had 2 plastic surgeries in private clinics at a much higher level! And I went to Turkey so as not to see negligence and problematic consequences! The result is not justified.

Dr Yergan Yer is a professional, I am very happy with the result, I had abdominoplasty and mammoplasty.

From initial stages of contact with Abdul in Bookimed things went very smoothly. He explained in great detail the procedure, costs, extras included. Extremely efficient. The hotel was of a lower standard than I expected, but clean and food was very good. The surgeon was clear and straight forward and managed my expectations very well given my body shape. Nursing and care staff were exceptionally kind. I had a tummy tuck and liposuction, and results far exceeded my hopes and dreams. I would strongly recommend Bookimed and Dr. Ergin. And a special thanks to Abdul who provided support throughout.

The medical team were great, very attentive. They did a wonderful job of making me feel safe immediately post operation and when I can back for a review Bookimed have been excellent in this process, I think the experience would have been vastly different (in a bad way) if I weren't to have used them. As I was travelling abroad to get my surgery done, I felt lost and clueless in the plethora of clinics and doctors out there. Hugo done a great job of shortlisting the best clinics suited to me and produced a package which I would not of been able to do on my own.

I’m very happy with the all experience since day one contacting the clinic .I’ve been in contact with Mariia Bondar since first enquire , and I must say she’s excepcional . She always answers my questions and try to help me the best way she could . Passing by the representative of the hospital that picks us up at the hotel on the day of the operation and takes us to the clinic, a big thank you too. Besides speaking perfect English, is a super friendly person and ver helpful . My doctor was Dr Ergen, which i can only say it was 5 stars in every respect . My procedure was vaserlipo , that I can say that I’m still swollen as only been a week , but very happy so far with the results . The only negative point is some and most of the staff don’t speak English , but Abdul even finishing his shift he made us comfortable about that as he said if something that we needed , we just call him and he could help on translating to the nurses. Well, thank Istanbul aesthetic Center and the staff .

Dr. Erguin Er is MAGICAL!!!! I have not had any discomfort or pain at any time and the scar is 7 days after surgery, it is virtually nonexistent.
