I was at the clinic not long ago, and overall had a good experience, staff is very friendly and explain the treatments very well. (I can't say anything about the work because I plan to come back to start another time)The only thing I have to say in the negative side is the wait to be taken back, I understand that is a free shuttle and that there are times, but after waiting 2 hours for the driver to return and see that he was in Wendy's (they all had Wendy's cups) with his family and making us wait on purpose was unacceptable, the front desk called the driver when we were all finished but he still didn't come back for us till 2 hours later. I just wish they have more control over the shuttle service, clinic and other staff were great.

Very satisfied with the work from this family owned dental facility. No hidden fees and found them to be very professional. Their new office is very nice and love the convenience of having a driver to take me to and from El Paso, TX. My eighteen new crowns look and feel great and I'm looking forward to getting the remaining crowns that will be installed on three implants in a few months. If something changes for the worse, I'll update this post but for now they are number one in my book.

For the second time in a couple yearsI have had an outstanding experience @ Rio Grande Dental. Born with a cleft lip and palate, my teeth have been a dentists’ challenge forever. This time specialist Dr Gerardo Nuñez spent 5.5 hours straight carefully and gently reworking a difficult layout. A few days later another 2.5 hours creatively installing 14 individual Full Contour Zirconium crowns and a bridge. They look like all natural teeth with a look I haven’t had since another long braces and reconstruction 4 decades ago. AND at an affordable cost more than $25,000 LESS than quoted by my local dentists. All without having to do several extractions and implants which local dentists were going to do. Amazing work. Thank you.

I received treatment from this facility. A root canal, crown, and deep cleaning. For starters I wasn't given a temporary crown to cover the exposed tooth. 1 week after the root canal I received the crown. I was in so much pain when I got back to the states I had to go to the ER. I contacted the office and was assured it took time to heal. After dealing with discomfort off and on for 9 months, I had an exam performed in the US. The crown was not properly fitted, this allowed any type of bacteria to grow. Ultimately causing not only the need for it to be removed but infection spread to the tooth next to it. I had to have both removed and get a partial denture due to the incompetence of this facility. I thought I was getting a deal $700 for root canal and crown. Just remember you get what you pay for.

I came to Rio Grande Dental needing a root canal and a crown replaced. I was appalled at the lack of professionalism. I've never been in a place where I had to hold the xray film in my fingers. They don't even have a light box to look at their xrays. The young woman who removed my crown spent 15 minutes hammering at my tooth. I asked her twice to get someone else because I was terrified she was going to kill my tooth. The crown they placed broke as she was placing it. I waited for 8 hours in their office behind bars while they replaced it. I had a mouth guard made. It doesn't work. It pulls all my teeth to one side. They have a warranty for this crown. The crown broke the same day. I dont wish to go back in because the whole process with this office feels like I'm at a mechanic not a dental office. Please do more research before coming here. I do plan on going back to Juarez for more dental work and I"ve done much more research, spoken to locals, and called a few places. Also, you don't speak to a provider at all. You speak to an office assistant that gives you prices and arranges your treatment. It was like picking off the menu ala carte and there was no meaningful interaction with the provider. The tooth did not take the root canal. I fact, the provider aggressively filed my tooth from within that it further caused more inflammation and infection. It had to be removed. I even traveled back down (7 hour trip) to have it rechecked. All of the connective tissue around the molar was inflamed. They gave no options, no remedy, just gave me a prescription for antibiotics and some pain killers. Update: the Crown they fabricated was made shoddy. the metal wore right through within a year. The crown on the lingual side is too high, my tongue cannot move correctly over my teeth. It's caused damage to the occluding tooth and my sinuses as the two teeth have been hammering into each other. I'm being seen for some severe periodontal issues from this, the tooth possibly need extraction or a root canal. It's caused some severe damage to my entire body as my whole system has attempted to adjust to this tooth (i.e. my gait is off, my sight is off, I'm getting TMJ) Their work will now cost me thousands of more dollars to fix. i am self-employed and pay out-of-pocket for all of my healthcare, hence, seeking out dental work across the border. BTW: I am a Registered Nurse. My back ground is in wound care, surgical/medical, community/public health, long-term care, acute in-patient care, management.
