Robotic Rehabilitation Center Walk Again

Walk Again Rehabilitation Center cooperates closely with Meoclinic Berlin giving its patients an opportunity to receive an additional medical assistance. Rehabilitation techniques used at the Center:

• physiotherapy – sessions with the physiotherapist are targeted to improve the patient’s physical condition, develop his/her main motor skills;
• occupational therapy – helps to restore the patient’s self-service skills;
• MOTOmed – an exerciser for the patients with musculoskeletal disorders which relaxes spasticity and eliminates muscle stiffness;
• Lokomat – a robotic system which automates movement therapy;
• Armeo – a device which works out hand movement stimulating the central nervous system;
• Exoskeleton – an outer support body which identifies the person’s motor impulses and gives an opportunity to move even for the wheelchair-bound patient;
• bobath therapy – a complex of manipulations, forcing the brain to recall how to make basic movements;
• functional electrical stimulation (FES) – a therapy which stimulates the paralyzed muscles through low current impulses;
• manual therapy includes therapeutic massages and lymphatic drainage;
• trainings and cardio exercises – exercises on special trainers including those training the heart muscle.

Cost

Additional outpatient sessions:

• robotic therapy session using exoskeleton - €600;
• robotic therapy session using Lokomat – €150;
• any other therapy session - €60 (per hour).

Cost of outpatient stay - €880 per day.
