Erlangen University Hospital that opened 190 years ago is the main reason why Erlangen is considered a city of health and medicine. As the hospital is located in a nice quiet place it is also called a “medical valley” that is in close proximity to hectic urban life.
The hospital itself is famous for its operating room that is considered one of the most advanced in the world, diagnosing and treating techniques, and cutting edge equipment. For example, the most advanced in Europe catheterization lab was opened here last year. Patients who suffer from heart rhythm disorders, heart valve ailments or patient who recover from infarction use the services of this division. Lab equipment that cost some EUR 1.5 million provides 3D images where small details are visible while radiation exposure is 60% less.
For surgeries with high risk of complications robotic equipment is used for several years. Da Vinci robot is used for high precision interventions taking surgery beyond the limits of the human hand. After such treatment the patient recovers quicker and there is no need to remove scars as robot’s high precision leaves no scars. Oncology department offers radiation and chemotherapy and regenerate organs with strip techniques. Specialists of the center are ready to work with patients at any cancer stage and with different complications. Everybody is treated individually. This brought the hospital top-lists in Germany.

The medical faculty of the university where the hospital was founded is committed to train specialists and to conduct research. Vom Arzt bis zur Reinigungskraft alle sehr freundlich und nett. Wir haben uns bei jedem Aufenthalt Kompetent behandelt gefühlt. Kinderintensiv, U2a , B4/2 (MKG) oder der Gipsraum alle durchweg einfühlsam mit unserer kleinen, nie war jemand genervt oder hat sich den Stress anmerken lassen. Wir danken Euch für alles !

Dieses Klinikum ist so wie von der Kompetenz den Ärzten und dem Personal und der Einrichtung sehr zu empfehlen! Man muss natürlich mit lange Wartezeit auf einen Termin rechnen da es ein Uniklinikum ist und stark besucht wir. Ein paar Wünsche hätte ich denn noch. Ist für Patienten der Augenklinik eine enorme Belastung Von Wartezeiten vier bis sechs bis acht stunden zu ertragen. Obwohl nur ambulante Untersuchung und Behandlung getätigt wird. Es sind oft so viele Menschen da das…s man Im großen Warteraum vor der Augenklinik nicht einmal mehr gut das Aufrufen der Namen der Ärzte hört. Es gibt z.b. nur eine Lautsprecher! Im hinteren Bereich hört man die Aufrufe der Ärztin nicht mehr. Auch für die Begleitung sind die langen Wartezeiten immer mir ein großes Problem viele Patienten sind angewiesen dass sie durch andere Fachkräfte oder Familienangehörige begleitet werden und diese können nicht mehr gewährleisten vier bis sechs bis acht stunden bei dem Patienten zu sein um ihn bei den Arztbesuch zu unterstützen. Es wird auch von den anderen Einrichtungen so eine hohe Stundenzahl von Arbeit bzw Aufwand nicht mehr bezahlt! Da sollte sich definitiv erlangen etwas überlegen um ihre Kollegen in anderen Bereichen zu unterstützen! Möchte noch mal betonen die Fachkräfte tun ihr Bestes und sind immer engagiert um den Patienten zu helfen und ihm bei den Weg zur Gesundung beizustehen.

Keine anständigen Parkplätze zum abholen der Patienten!!!!!!!! Wenn man jemanden bei der Chirurgie abholen muss, müsste dieser mindestens einen halben Kilometer ins Parkhaus laufen. Jemanden mit frisch operieren Bein ist das sehr anstrengend und mühselig! Man wird von BRK angepöbelt. Total toll hier!

Ich wurde am 28 juli 2018 mit dem befund Leukämie eingeliefert und jeder ob Schwester, Pflegepersonal oder Ärzte waren sowas von bemüht mir den Aufenthalt dort so angenehm wie möglich zu machen! Top Ärzte, Top Pflegepersonal, Top Schwestern, sie haben mir das Leben gerettet!!😍

Ich war dort in Behandlung von Mai bis jetzt und bin es immer noch, da das Nürnberger Krankenhaus mich leider nicht als Patienten weiter nehmen konnte aufgrund von Personalmangel. Ich habe in Erlangen angerufen und konnte noch sofort am selben Tag vorbei kommen! Ich kann die Frauenklinik definitive weiter empfehlen wirklich Top! Auch die Schwestern & die Ärzte der Onkologie, bin sehr zufrieden! Werde da auch weiter in Behandlung bleiben und kann die Frauenklinik nur weiter empfehlen!

Mein Leben verdanke ich der uniklinik Erlangen , besonders den Ärzten der Abteilung für Mkg Chirurgie sowie den netten Krankenschwestern . Herzlichen Dank für alles nochmals. Ich werde euch immer in guter Erinnerung behalten und im Herzen . Muss mich jedoch wieder vorstellen nächste Woche, und hoffe nur das mir eine 3 te Operation erspart bleibt.
