Zentrum der Rehabilitation specializes in rehabilitation after:

craniocerebral injuries of varying severity;
spinal cord injury;
cerebral palsy;

Special aspectes of rehabilitation center

effective program that is selected individually;
personal trainers (maximum 2) for the whole duration of rehabilitation;
6-8 hours of rehabilitation therapy;

the latest equipment (locomotive simulators - Lokomat, Vector Gate System, ERIGO);

The equipment and techniques of the Pforzheim center
Lokomat	Robotic rehabilitation walk. It is a robotoortez that supports and automates the patients walk, designed for people with spinal cord injuries or diseases. Returns equability of distance, has a positive effect on the tone of the muscles, activates them, acts as osteoporosis prophylaxis.
Erigo	Combines verticalization patient step by step with the cyclical movements and the load on the legs.
Vektor Gait System	It allows the therapist to change the load parameters and adjust the degree of automatic safety net to support individual patients. During the lessons the unit conducts training analysis.
I.N.P.U.T. (Intensive therapy is based on neuroplasticity)	The unique technique of rehabilitation, which is practiced only in the Zentrum der Rehabilitation. It aims to restore the lost functions of the body. It consists of a set of Bobath therapy, chiropractic and world innovations from the field of CNS research.
Hippotherapy	Therapeutic Riding. It has a beneficial effect on cognitive function and the patient's psyche.
logopaedics	Therapy aimed at restoring speech.
E.Taub therapy method (CIMT)	The method is based on the prohibition of movement of a healthy limb in order to make the affected limb function.

Accommodations

Private apartments for each patient;
double Apartment for patient and companion (in each room: private bathroom, free Wi-Fi, plasma TV);

Einmalig ! So etwas gibt es einfach nirgend wo. Die Mühe und Geduld vom Therapeuten mit Patienten, haben uns begeistert. Wir sind so glücklich, dass es so etwas gibt. Und das ist Geerlofs-Zentrum im Pforzheim!

Ein Stern ist bei soviel Unverschämtheit noch zu viel!! Ich besuchte Ihren Stand auf der diesjährigen RehaCare und bekundete mein Interesse an einer Rehabilitation, da mir vor wenigen Wochen eine Intrathekale Baclofenpumpe implantiert wurde. Ich berichtete, dass sich meine Lebensqualität seitdem immens gesteigert hat, ich sehr glücklich über diesen Schritt bin. Sie rieten mir sofort dazu die Pumpe wieder ausbauen zu lassen. Und dazu, dass ich mich ja darauf gefasst machen kön…nte, dass dies genauso schwer wird, wie die Implantation an sich. Des Weiteren wurde das Können des Operateurs sowie die Kompetenz des Krankenhauses stark angezweifelt. Ich finde es eine absolute Frechheit sich so zu äußern, ohne zu wissen, wie es mir vorher/ ohne Pumpe ging und was ich bis dato alles durchgemacht und ausprobiert hatte, um meine massive Spastik sowie die damit verbundenen Schmerzen in den Griff zu bekommen, oder gar die Klinik und den Operateur zu kennen. Jeder darf seine Meinung äußern, aber dieses Gespräch war einfach nur eine Frechheit!

Ich hatte einen fürchterlichen Autounfall, und darf dass laufen nochmal lernen. Ich war deshalb schonmal in Pforzheim ....es hat mir unendlich gut getan.... das Team ist wunderbar.... freu mich schon aufs zweite Mal im Februar '19 !!

War bereits 3 Mal dort, habe unglaubliche Fortschritte gemacht, dafür dass es zuerst hieß: Das wird nix mehr! Kommentar der Ärzte! Mit genügend Motivation komme ich Stück für Stück meinem Ziel näher. Ich kann das Zentrum nur jedem Neurologischen Patient empfehlen!

The stay in the rehabilitation center was great, the training was hard but it was worth it!! I was able to make great progress, especially steps!! The therapists take a lot of time for you!!! I'll definitely be back!!

Gibt es auch mehr Sterne, die man vergeben könnte? Zusammen mit meinem Patienten hatte ich erneut und wie immer, einen ganz wunderbaren Aufenthalt bei euch! Mit großartigen Therapeuten, intensiven Therapiestunden, eine super Atmosphäre, im Kopf bleibende Gespräche, ausgefüllten Tagen, enorm viel Input... Körperlich wie auch geistig. Ich bin seit 5 Jahren regelmäßig Patient im Zentrum der Rehabilitation Geerlofs und bin hoch zufrieden. Diese Einrichtung zählt zu den führenden Rehazentren für neurologische Patienten und ist sehr empfehlenswert.
