Charité eye doctors carry out the LASEK procedure to treat astigmatism, nearsightedness, and farsightedness.
During the operation, an eye surgeon affects only the top corneal layer with the laser. That’s why the LASEK is performed in cases when the corneal layer is too thin, and LASIK procedure is impossible. A patient may feel pain for a few days after the LASEK procedure. Hospitalization is not required.
At the Charité Eye Center, the LASEK surgery cost depends on the patient’s age and the vision condition.
