The liver resection surgery is performed at Bumrungrad Horizon Cancer Center.

During the procedure, a surgeon resects a part of the liver which is affected by cancer cells or another pathology. Partial hepatectomy is carried out laparoscopically through 2 cm incisions or by open method.
After the liver resection, a patient stays in the Intensive Care Unit for 1-2 days and up to 10 days in the general ward.
