They did biopsy, ultrasound and PET scan. Although I wanted surgery, doctor explained it wasn't in my best interest and recommended medication instead. Doctors were careful to come up with plan, they didn't rush to make decisions. I had a medical coordinator who assisted in transportation to and from hospital and coordinating tests and doctor visits. I was also assigned an interpreter for Turkish to English.They were both wonderful and it was nice to have assistance and smiling faces when I arrived. They always took time to listen to concerns and answer questions. I met with 2 doctors, a breast cancer surgeon and oncologist. They both were professional and friendly.
