Hello, we are from Kazakhstan. Came here for diagnosis and treatment of my son. We really liked the clinic. Neurologist Barış Metin explained everything to us in detail. We learned a lot about my son's illness. My son has hydrocephalus and even after the tests we found out that he has epilepsy, the VP-shunt works at an accelerated rate, so my son did not develop. Now we are receiving treatment. We hope it helps insha Allah. I also liked the staff, especially the translators, I forgot the names, but one of them even knows the Kazakh language. It was super convenient. Thank you very much Bookimed, you are the best, you helped us a lot, especially thanks to Oksana and Anna, they always answered on time and put up with us for more than a month. Despite the fact that I went to the gastrectomy operation alone, without an accompanying person, I did not feel for a single minute without attention and care. Thanks to my wonderful translator Elmira - she has become a real support. Special thanks to my coordinator Bakhtygul - she organized everything as comfortably and professionally as possible. The recovery room is excellent. Bright, with a beautiful view. My deep gratitude to all the staff of the surgical department (floor 1) for their kindness, attention, support, care. The doctor from the first minute caused complete confidence. I think he is a true professional and a wonderful surgeon. I planned the trip on my own, buying into advertising, and specially came from another country. There were few patients, but the service was very slow; I waited for an hour at each office. I went in at 10 am, left at 4:30 pm, and had an appointment with the doctors in advance + I adjusted to their schedule due to their travel. The service is disgusting, the staff is indifferent and I had to raise my voice several times to get attention. I paid over $1000 to wait for hours (!) and left with mixed feelings

Hello, my name is Vladislav Ivanov, Ukraine, Odessa city. In February 2021, my daughter Vlada was diagnosed with anaplastic ependymoma, we went to the doctors for a week trying to find out why the child started having severe headaches. They went through examinations, did an MRI, and as a fact, they found a brain tumor. That's when the ground slipped from under my feet. Realization has come - this has already happened, which means you need to quickly take action. The first thing we did was go to the children's hospital in Kyiv, the child was given a shunt. But unfortunately, fluid began to collect in my head and my vision began to fall sharply. The doctors explained that an operation was urgently needed. We did not have a large accumulated amount, and we decided to complete the operation abroad. We contacted Bookmed. We contacted the employee Marina. Marina quickly found a clinic for us in Turkey, organized a trip for us, flew to Turkey in a matter of days. The hospital was already waiting for us. Examined, took blood for tests and the next day an operation was scheduled. Everything went well. Then they underwent a course of radiotherapy. The results are positive, we were sent home to Ukraine (August 2021). Every 3 months they underwent MRI, the pictures were good .. But a year later, in March 2022, we heard the terrible words “relapse”, “war”. Hastily collected the necessary documents and left for Lviv. From there, by large buses, all children with cancer began to be taken out along the humanitarian corridor from Ukraine to Europe. The daughter and his wife were assigned to France. A second operation was performed, the tumor was removed, and after that a course of chemotherapy was prescribed. After a month of taking the course, the doctor said that chemotherapy was not helping. The doctor suggested experimental chemotherapy, but that didn't help either. As a result, the daughter is getting worse and worse every day. The child began to walk badly, the right leg and handle practically do not work. The child melted before my eyes. It's all very scary, but it's worse to leave Vlad without an opportunity for treatment. I again turned to Marina Bookmed Marina again very quickly found us a hospital in Turkey, helped us with the flight Paris Istanbul. Arrived at the hospital 2 days later, the operation was successful!!! After the operation, the child began to talk, swallow, and after a couple of days to walk. I contacted the clinic via Bookimed.com before arrival and supplied them with my medical reports. They picked me up from the airport and sent me to my hotel. I requested having eye lens laser replacement asap so I can go back home a week after the operation. I arrived at the clinic early morning and was received by Anastasia, a health assistant supporting the patients and helping with the translation. I did all the pre operations test and then met with Dr. Remzi Karadag. He checked my test results and performed more tests, then confirmed my suitability for the operation. I had one eye operated on same day and the other eye the next day. I was issued with eye drops and information on how to look after my eyes during convalescence. A week on, so far so good. I am not using glasses anymore but full restoration of vision will take a month or maybe more.
