I am from Witney, Oxfordshire in the UK and I went to Hair for a beard and hair transplant and I cannot rate the professional service received from all members of the team highly enough. I am writing this review in my hotel room the day after having a beard and hair transplant. When I first decided to undergo a hair transplant in Turkey, I was inundated with offers from, what seemed to be, hundreds of hair transplant clinics through WhatsApp, and it was hard to know which clinics were the best? I decided to pick Hair in Istanbul, because I could see no negatives reviews and they were recommended to me by Bookimed. I then heavily researched this clinic online before making a decision. I could tell once I met with the medical team that I had made a good choice on coming to this clinic. This is a good clinic, and the medical team who carried out the procedure were highly skilled, professional, and considerate. Once, they started taking grafts I could tell these people know what they were doing. On my initial WhatsApp consultation, I was told they would be able to extract 3000 grafts but, they actually extracted 4800 and so they implanted some additional grafts in the crown area of my head free of charge. They implanted every single graft in which meant they took longer than scheduled. I will send the photographic results of my hair and beard transplant after 6 months has passed. I also give Hair permission to pass on my contact details to anyone who wants to contact me with questions about my experience as a client at this clinic. Pros: Transfer service was really good and well worth it in my opinion . Patient co-ordinator we’re very helpful and fluent in English Hospital staff were polite and professional. Cons: Busy hospital corridors, people waiting on stairwells. Equipment seemed poorly maintained, and old in a lot of cases. One room we had to use to sign documents was full of bloody bandages just sitting on table, no co-ordination. When having my blood pressure checked, the equipment had pieces of chewing gum stuck on it - assuming from previous patients ( no attention to detail when cleaning). Advertised as English speaking nurses, but none really spoke English, had to use translator app alot.

Trying to get hair replacement procedure in the USA is not only expensive and behind the expertise that other countries like South Korea or in my case, Turkey, are known for. From day one, Bookimed was extremely responsive and answered all my questions quickly and expertly, while getting me the best price for my hair replacement procedure. I was initially given a quote for Istanbul Plastic Surgery Clinic, but later given an even better rate and consultation with Adem & Havva Hair Clinic. I went with the FUE hair method which is less costly than the newer DHI method, and I believe just as effective, although a little more recovery is needed by about a few days with FUE method. Do your homework on what you want done for your needs and balance the price and see what works for you. Remember that two prices are offered for either procedure: "Shaven head" and "Unshaven head," With the shaven head being the cheaper cost but I believe more sanitary. Unshaven method does look better while you heal (you keep your regular hair) but I just believe removing all hair to allow doctors a clean base for the hair procedure is the best way to go, and cheaper and more sanitary too without sacrificing quality. Your cost will vary depending on your consultation with BookImed that includes sending them pictures with specific instructions. But ultimately the amount of hair grafts you need will determine the final cost. But BookiMed will work to find the very best deal for you based on procedure you've chosen. But compare other clinics if you feel better to see that Bookimed will give you the best rate for comparable procedures from other clinics. I recommend getting to Turkey about 3-4 days early so you can sight see this beautiful country before your hair procedure. They will arrange all transportation and hotel accommodations for you if you wish extra nights and will pick you up at airport and take you to your hair procedures. I cannot stress enough that my visit and my procedure was excellent and I highly recommend Bookimed for hair and even plastic surgery procedures ( I will do a chin lift next). It has only been a week since my procedure was done and can post pics based on my current status of healing. But I have not suffered any issues or side effects and my scalp and hair are healing and growing properly. The clinic will follow my hair process for one year to ensure my hair grows out well and I am completely satisfied. I hope this review helps many of you out there. I want to give a special thank you to Dr. Hassan Jabar from Bookimed, Maryum our hair nursing consultant and coordinator, Serpil Kargin, the Adem and Havva Hair Clinic Office manager, and finally our driver, Mr. Zafer who was very kind and helped me with all my transportation and covid testing needs to return back to the USA.

I live in London. I contacted db’est clinic in February In Istanbul, where Hulya contacted me and I told her I would like to have breast augmentation and rhinoplasty and upper blepharoplasty. Hulya told me some information about doctor Derya before giving me any options. She recommended me the websites before making a decision, then I was asked for some pictures to show to the doctor. After seeing my pictures the doctor recommended me mastopexy + silicone augmentation, and agreed with the rhinoplasty and the upper blepharoplasty. After agreeing with the price that included the hotel accommodation and transfer Hulya organised my surgery and all the required tests in Istanbul according to the date I wanted, even with the difficult situation with covid-19. I also want to mention that Hulya was a great support before and during my stay in Istanbul. When arriving to Istanbul, the driver of the car had a letter for me where I was explained the next steps before the surgery, and I was transferred to the hotel. On the next day I was visited by the nurse, who escorted me to the hospital, to do all the tests before the surgery and I met doctor Derya Bingol. After finishing my tests I was transferred to the clinic escorted by the nurse, where I had a long conversation with doctor Derya, and I made a decision with the best advice and had all my questions answered. I felt very comfortable and confident with Derya with the professional and friendly was she explained to me the process of the surgery. On the next day my surgery took place at the arranged hour and ai would like to mention the care from doctor Derya along with the nurse Nazli, who visited me to do a control and transferred me to the hotel. During my stay at the hotel I had multiple visits from the doctor for checks, treatments and medication. The day in which I was coming back to London, the transport provided by the clinic took me to the clinic to have the last checks, conversation, medication and advice, and I had transport from the clinic to the airport to go to my gate. I would like to say it was an extraordinary experience, I am still healing, and that the results are reaching my expectations, which makes me very happy and thankful to doctor Derya and all her team, Hulya, Nazli and Agnieszka. I would always recommend doctor Derya to anyone that would like to do any plastic surgery with confidence.

My procedure was liposuction to 3 areas - upper belly, lower belly and waist. My initial contact was with Dr Anna Petrikova through Bookimed. I sent my photos to her and spoke with her about possible hospitals in Turkey. She contacted some hospitals for me and came back with the recommended procedure and costs from the hospitals. Firstly mini tummy tuck with liposuction was suggested. I did not want a tummy tuck so asked Anna if she would contact the hospitals again for liposuction only and told her that I was not expecting to have the tummy of a 20 year old (I am 48), just an improvement would be acceptable. Anna came back to me with some choices for liposuction only and some prices. Don’t be afraid to ask as many questions as you want and to take your time with your decision. Anna answered all my questions as quickly as possible and did not pressurise me in any way. She was professional and very helpful at all times. Barbara from the care department at Bookimed suggested some hotels as I wanted to book my own. She came up with an apartment which was only about 10 mins from the hospital that I had decided on which was LIV hospital. I was then allocated a hospital coordinator - Nomonzaya Purevsuren. She was excellent and sorted everything to do with the hospital - taxi transfers to/from airport, accommodation and hospital, all translations with admission staff at the hospital, nurses, anethetist etc and she was in contact with me constantly. She went down to the operating theatre with me and was back at my room after my procedure to answer any questions and make sure everything was ok. I stayed at the hospital overnight and had regular contact with Nomonzaya - it was a bit like having a Personal assistant in a private hospital! I would have been lost without her and she was a great help. My surgeon at LIV hospital was Dr Zeynep Sevim. She was fluent in English and very professional. She answered any questions I had and I felt very comfortable with her - it was actually quite nice to have a female Dr. I was admitted to the hospital in the morning and after blood tests etc were carried out, my procedure was done the same afternoon. Everything went as expected and I was discharged the following afternoon. I went back to Dr Zeyneps clinic the next morning for a check up. The hospital and nursing staff were excellent and looked after me very well and although the nurses did not speak much English, Nomonzaya was always on hand. My husband was with me at the hospital most of the time and there was a pull out sofa bed in my room that he could have slept on if wanted. He was always made to feel welcome and was given food if he was there at meal times. All of this happened only 11 days ago so I am of course feeling a bit sore and bruised. I sent my updated photos to the Dr. this morning and she said that everything was looking good and I should send some more in around 2 weeks. It’s quite a scary thing to have any kind of surgery in a different country to your own but I feel as though I was taken care of very well by everyone at LIV hospital and I can already see the beginnings of my new shape after Dr Zeyneps excellent work!
