Day 1: Arrival

Arrive at the hospital and complete the check-in process.
Undergo a general health check-up.
Consult with a gastroenterologist who will perform the ERCP.
Discuss the procedure, potential risks, and recovery process.

Day 2: Pre-Operation

Undergo necessary blood tests and imaging studies.
Meet an anesthesiologist to discuss anesthesia options and risks.
Fast for at least 6 hours before the procedure.

Day 3: ERCP Procedure

Receive sedation or general anesthesia.
The ERCP procedure will take approximately 1 to 2 hours.
A flexible tube (endoscope) is inserted through the mouth to the duodenum.

Day 4: Post-Operation

Arrange for a ride home as you cannot drive due to the sedation.

Week 1: Rehabilitation

Rest and avoid strenuous activities for a few days.
Resume work and light activities after one week.
Follow-up appointment with the gastroenterologist.

Week 2: Full Recovery

Resume normal activities and sports after two weeks.
