Professor Simon completed his medical studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He completed his residency and further training in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hadassah University Hospital Ein Kerem.
Advanced training in the areas of gamete micromanipulation, laparoscopic surgery and reconstructive pelvic surgery for patients with gynecologic oncology diseases in leading clinics in Europe and the USA.
Today, Professor Alex Simon directs the IVF Center at Hadassah University and also holds an academic position as Associate Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
