Dr. Piero Giustacchini is the Director of the Endocrine and Bariatric Surgery Unit at Mater Olbia Hospital. He also leads the Bariatric Center at the same hospital.

He earned his Degree in Medicine and Surgery from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome. He also holds a Specialist Certificate in General Surgery from the same university.

Dr. Serena Piacentini is a specialist in Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases. She holds a Degree in Medicine and Surgery and a PhD from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome. She has strong clinical and research experience in thyroid and parathyroid disorders, hypothalamic-pituitary and adrenal disorders, osteoporosis, menstrual cycle issues, neuroendocrine tumors, pediatric endocrinology, diabetes, and dyslipidemia.

Dr. Paolo Profice is a neurologist with expertise in cerebrovascular diseases, Parkinson’s disease, movement disorders, and neuromuscular disorders. He graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery. He also completed a Neurology specialization at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome and earned a second-level Master in Cerebrovascular Diseases from La Sapienza University.

He is a certified instructor in advanced simulation for medical education.
