Biography
Ahmet Köybaşıoğlu is a Professor and Doctor who was born in 1958. He entered Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1975 and completed his education, graduating in 1981. He completed his specialization in Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine between 1982-1986.

While working as an ENT specialist at Ankara Dışkapı SSK Hospital, he also worked at the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Cancer Research Center in the Netherlands. In 1997, he became an associate professor in the ENT Head and Neck Surgery department at Gazi University, and in 2003, he became a full professor.

In 1998, he worked on cases with his American colleagues at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in the United States. He conducted academic research for 16 years from 1996-2012, focusing on head and neck tumors. He also deepened his academic research in laryngology, which includes vocal cord and voice disorders.

He specialized in voice hoarseness, snoring, respiratory problems, dizziness, as well as nodules, polyps and vocal cord cysts in the larynx. His medical interests also include pediatric ENT diseases such as tonsillitis, adenoids, fluid accumulation in the ear, and congenital neck cysts.

He conducted academic research and publications on tumors and cancer diseases that occur in the mouth, nose, tongue, jaw, throat, and skin areas in the head and neck region. These diseases are his primary medical interest areas.

Prof. M.D. Yusuf Serdar Sakin was born in Nevşehir in 1978. After completing his primary and secondary education in Ankara, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Gülhane Military Medical Academy in 2002.
Following his graduation, he served in Gole/Ardahan for two years. He started his internal medicine training at the Department of Internal Medicine, Gülhane Faculty of Medicine.
After completing his training, he worked as an internal medicine specialist in Ankara. A year later, he began additional training in the Department of Gastroenterology at Gülhane Faculty of Medicine and completed his training in 2014.
After graduation, Yusuf Serdar Sakin continued to work in the same department. He also received advanced endoscopy and Motility training at AMC Center in the Netherlands in 2017.
After obtaining the title of Associate Professor in 2017, he became a Professor in 2023.
He currently provides medical services to patients at Koru Ankara Hospital. His areas of medical interest include:

Prof. Dr. Gülşah Bademci is a physician specialized in the field of brain, nerve, spine, and spinal cord surgery. She graduated as the fourth-ranked student from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1993. She obtained her title as a brain and nerve surgeon from the Ankara University Faculty of Medicine Department of Brain and Nerve Surgery in 2001. In 2008, she became an associate professor at the Kırıkkale University Faculty of Medicine, and in 2021, she became a professor at the Yüksek İhtisas University Faculty of Medicine. She has contributed to numerous international publications, serving as a research and clinical fellow at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences with Prof. Dr. M. Gazi Yaşargil, and as a research fellow at Yale University School of Medicine. She holds ECFMG America Board Step 1 and EANS European Board certificates. She speaks advanced-level English and has awards in tennis and swimming. She also pursues professional-level caricature art and medical illustration. In her 30-year career, she has performed numerous surgeries as a brain and nerve surgery specialist, particularly in spinal canal stenosis surgery, lumbar and cervical disc herniations, brain tumors, hydrocephalus surgery, and nerve compressions.

Associate Professor Dr. Emrah Eraslan graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2005. From 2006 to 2011, he worked as a research assistant in the Department of Internal Medicine at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine and became an internal medicine specialist in 2011. Between 2011 and 2013, he worked as an internal medicine specialist and chief physician at Dr. Nafiz Körez Sincan State Hospital and Palu District State Hospital. From 2013 to 2016, he received medical oncology training at Dr. Abdurrahman Yurtaslan Ankara Oncology Education and Research Hospital and worked there until 2021. In 2023, he became an associate professor and contributed to his field with his publications throughout his career. He currently serves his patients at Koru Ankara Hospital. Vahit Onur Gül graduated from the Gülhane Military Medical Faculty in 1998. He became a general surgeon specialist in 2009 and a general surgery associate professor in 2020. He served as a military doctor in almost every city in our country. He received training in robotic surgery in the USA and microsurgery in Switzerland. He participated in many advanced laparoscopic surgery courses both domestically and internationally. He presented numerous oral and written papers at conferences and meetings both domestically and internationally.
