In 2011, he spent two months in India studying actively on laparoscopy at World Laparoscopy Hospital. In 2014, he received the title of Obstetrician and Gynecologist. In the same year, he came 2nd in Turkey in the examination for Minor Specialty in Medicine and started his minor residency in Gynecological Oncology Surgery at Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
In 2017, he worked for three months at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, United States. In 2018, he became a minor specialist in Gynecological Oncology Surgery. In the same year, the European Society of Gynecological Oncology awarded him the personally accredited European Gynecologist Oncologist certificate (3rd person in Turkey). For about 1.5 years, he served at Gazi Yaşargil Training and Research Hospital under the Obligation of Civil Service. In 2019, he participated in active surgery and cadaver work together with Michael Höckel, one of the pioneers of Gynecological Oncology at the University of Leipzig, Leipzig, Germany. That same year, he was a “visiting fellow” at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome, Italy.
He was awarded the title of Associate Professor in August 2019. He participated in numerous national and international congresses, symposiums and workshops and served as guest speaker. His surgery videos have been selected as training videos by the European Society of Gynecological Oncology and are published on their site for doctors.
He has 56 international and 10 national publications. He was the editor of the Turkish translation of the book, which is considered the main international source in Gynecological Oncology. He is the author of 7 chapters of international and national books. He has over 100 works in Turkey and abroad as oral presentations, poster presentations and panel presentations. He is refereeing for internationally respected journals. He has a good command of English. He follows up and implements all developments in his field.
Dr. Özer Akgül is an experienced Turkish Radiation Oncologist, with an MD from Uludag University Medicine School (Bursa) and residency from Ege University Hospital. He has proficiency in overseeing oncology trends, achieving set goals, understanding marketplace needs, and developing strategies. His areas of interest include breast cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, rectal cancer, head and neck cancers, cervical cancer, gastric cancer, and brain tumors. Prof. Dr. Ümmügül Üyetürk completed her undergraduate and graduate education at Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine between 1988-1994. She specialized in Internal Medicine at Istanbul Training and Research Hospital from 1998 to 2003. Between 2008-2011, she received her subspecialty training in Medical Oncology at Ankara Oncology Training and Research Hospital.
After serving as the deputy chief physician at Suluova State Hospital, she established the Internal Medicine Department and Medical Oncology Science Branch at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University between 2011-2020, where she served as the head of the science branch. During this time, she educated resident doctors and students. Üyetürk, who received the title of Associate Professor in 2014, spent 6 months in Canada/Toronto in 2019. In 2020, she was awarded the title of Professor at Abant İzzet Baysal University.
Üyetürk has published over 60 articles in international peer-reviewed journals and has more than 20 scientific works published in national peer-reviewed journals. She also has over 100 presentations that have been delivered at international and national scientific meetings and published in proceedings books. Prof. Dr. Süleyman Alıcı completed his medical education at Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine. (1990) He later specialized in Internal Medicine between 1991-1995 at Selçuk University Faculty of Medicine Internal Medicine Clinic. He worked as an Assistant Professor at Yüzüncü Yıl University Faculty of Medicine Internal Medicine Clinic between 1996-1997. He obtained his subspecialty training in Medical Oncology at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine (Çapa Medicine) between 1997-2000. After that, he worked again at Yüzüncü Yıl University Faculty of Medicine between 2000-2005 and established the Medical Oncology Department. Alıcı, who received the title of Associate Professor in 2004, served as the clinical chief of the Medical Oncology Clinic at Ankara Atatürk Training and Research Hospital between 2005-2008. Dr Ozates was born in 1966 in Birecik district of Sanliurfa in Turkey. He completed his primary and secondary education in my hometown, Birecik. He got into Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1983. After 6 years of successful education, he started Radiology education at Dicle University Faculty of Medicine by passing the Medical Specialization Examination (TUS) in the same year I graduated in 1989.
Between 1993 and 1995, he worked as a Radiology Specialist in various hospitals in Gaziantep. He passed the Assistant Professorship exam and started to work as a faculty member at Dicle University in 1995.
