Born in Bulgaria in 1974, Dr. X speaks English, Russian and Bulgarian. He completed his medical school degree at Hacettepe Medical School (1993-1999). He then went on to complete his residency at Göztepe Training and Research Hospital Clinic of Ophthalmology (2000-2004). He has held associate professor positions at Medeniyet University Göztepe Training and Research Hospital, and Chief of Clinic of Ophthalmology at Medeniyet University Göztepe Training and Research Hospital (2014-2016) and Chief of Vitreoretinal Surgery Department at Medeniyet University Göztepe Training and Research Hospital (2010-2017). He currently works at Dünyagöz Hospital Vitreoretinal Surgery Department (2017-). He is a member of the Turkish Medical Association, Turkish Society of Ophthalmology, Turkish Republics Ophthalmology Society and Turkish Society of Ophthalmology, Vitreoretinal Surgery Unit. He has performed 17,000 cataract surgeries and 8,500 vitreoretinal surgeries.
