Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tamer Aksoy graduated from Eskişehir Osmangazi University in 2000. After serving as the Management Representative of SSK Tavşanlı Hospital, he worked as a Practitioner in the Endocrinology Department of SSK Ankara Etlik Education and Research Hospital. In 2005, he began his residency training in the Nuclear Medicine Department of Hacettepe University and completed his specialization in 2009, becoming a Nuclear Medicine specialist.

After serving as an Assistant Professor in the Nuclear Medicine Department of Afyon Kocatepe University Faculty of Medicine, he started working at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital in 2011. In 2012, Aksoy worked as a Lecturer in the Acıbadem Hospitals Group and Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University Faculty of Medicine, and he ended his role at the Nuclear Medicine Clinic of Health Sciences University Istanbul Training and Research Hospital in 2023.

In 2012, he participated as an observer in studies on PET imaging, Lymphoscintigraphy, and Radiolabeled Therapies at the Nuclear Medicine Clinic of Netherlands Cancer Institute – Antoni van Leeuwenhoek (NKI) Hospital (Amsterdam/Netherlands). He received the title of Associate Professor in February 2023. Since May 2023, he has been serving his patients at Hisar Hospital Intercontinental.

Throughout his professional career, he has particularly focused on patient acceptance and follow-up regarding PET/CT examinations and Radiolabeled Therapies.

He is a member of the Turkish Medical Association, the Turkish Nuclear Medicine Society, and the European Association of Nuclear Medicine. He has published 46 articles in domestic and international journals, presented numerous oral and poster presentations at national and international congresses, and authored 2 book chapters published by national and international publishers. He has contributed to the preparation of Practice Guidelines published by the Turkish Nuclear Medicine Society and served as an Educator in the “Nuclear Medicine School” organized by the Turkish Nuclear Medicine Society. He has served as a reviewer for various international journals. He has also been an invited speaker and session chair at various national and international meetings. Three of his national and international studies have received awards for best research and publication.

He has taught Master’s, Bachelor’s, and associate degree courses in the Faculty of Medicine, Radiology, and Radiation Oncology Health Vocational Schools at Afyon Kocatepe University, Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University, and Hamidiye Medical Faculty of Health Sciences University, as well as the International Medical Faculty. He has served as the principal investigator in a completed multi-center study abroad on Kidney Tumors.

Müslüm ÇİÇEK was born in Malatya in 1969 and attended primary, secondary and higher education in Malatya. He graduated from Istanbul University Medical School in 1992. He completed his specialization in anesthesiology and intensive care at Şişli Etfal Hospital in 1997.

He worked at Malatya İnönü University Medical School between 2000 and 2008. In 2005, he worked in the intensive care unit at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, USA. In 2007, he became Associate Professor and in 2013, Professor.

In 2016, he was rector of the Cyprus University of Social and Health Sciences. He held this position for two years.

In 2018, he began working at Istinye University Health Practice and Research Hospital Gaziosmanpaşa as “medical director, specialist in anesthesiology and resuscitation and sub-specialist in intensive care”. He continues to hold this position.

He is a member of numerous national and international associations.
