He then completed his career education at Uludağ University Medical Faculty in the Orthopedics and Traumatology Department (1993 - 1998) and an externship in the Orthopedic Surgery Department at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago (1997). He is a member of the Turkish Medical Association (TTB), American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA), International Congress for Joint Reconstruction (ICJR), and the Turkish Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (TOTBID).
