Prof. Dr. Erdem Akbal was born in 1978 in Kırıkkale. In 2015, he received training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital Advanced Endoscopy Unit, focusing on Endoscopic Ultrasonography and advanced endoscopic procedures. In 2017, he trained at the Amsterdam Academic Medical Center in techniques such as endoscopic submucosal dissection, endoscopic mucosal resection, diffuse esophageal spasm, and endoscopic full-thickness resection for treating early-stage gastrointestinal system tumors. He also received training in high-resolution manometry and POEM (Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy) for diagnosing esophageal diseases like achalasia. In 2018, he furthered his education in ESD and Balloon Enteroscopy at Jichi University.

Dr. Levent Demirturk is a gastroenterologist with over 40 years of experience. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1982. He completed his Internal Medicine training at GATA in 1989. He then specialized in Gastroenterology in 1992.

Dr. Demirturk has held important academic roles, including Professor and Ward Chief at GATA Haydarpaşa. He was also a member of the Higher Science Council. Prof. M.D. Yusuf Serdar Sakin was born in Nevşehir in 1978. After completing his primary and secondary education in Ankara, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Gülhane Military Medical Academy in 2002.
Following his graduation, he served in Gole/Ardahan for two years. He started his internal medicine training at the Department of Internal Medicine, Gülhane Faculty of Medicine.
After completing his training, he worked as an internal medicine specialist in Ankara. A year later, he began additional training in the Department of Gastroenterology at Gülhane Faculty of Medicine and completed his training in 2014.
After graduation, Yusuf Serdar Sakin continued to work in the same department. He also received advanced endoscopy and Motility training at AMC Center in the Netherlands in 2017.
After obtaining the title of Associate Professor in 2017, he became a Professor in 2023.

Dr. Ertugrul graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Medicine. He completed his training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
