Dr. Omer Burcak Binicier is a gastroenterology specialist with strong medical training. He earned his medical degree at Ege University. He completed his internal medicine and gastroenterology specialization at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Binicier has over ten years of clinical experience. He has authored 10 articles that are published in peer-review journals listed by SCI and SCI-e and 8 articles that are published in national journals.

Associate Professor Koray Aykut was graduated from Ege university in 1999 and completed residency of cardiovascular surgery in Dokuz Eylül University in 2005. He was cardiac surgeon in Kars State Hospital from 2005 to 2007 for compulsory service. He has been in Cyprus Army Hospital from 2007 to 2008 for his military service.

Dr. Halil Can is a Professor of Neurosurgery (2025; Associate Professor 2020). He completed neurosurgical training at Istanbul University–Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2007. His clinical focus includes endoscopic and microsurgical spine surgery for fractures, tumors, and degenerative disease; advanced pain procedures; endoscopic skull base and pituitary surgery; and neurovascular, neuro-oncologic, and peripheral nerve surgery.

He has 21 international peer-reviewed papers (SCI/SSCI). Topics include cadaveric morphometry of Kambin’s triangle and the transforaminal triangular working zone, lumbar arterial and anterior approach anatomy, and an in vitro test of a new lumbar fixation device.

His clinical studies include a single-team series of 81 posterior circulation aneurysms, with 13 flow-diversion cases. He also reported five spinal cavernous malformation cases. He conducted Phase I safety and feasibility stem-cell trials in pediatric hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy and in chronic complete spinal cord injury.

Dr. Mehmet Tonge is a neurosurgeon with expertise in Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery. He specializes in MR Guided Focused Ultrasound, deep brain stimulation, Gamma Knife Radiosurgery, and surgery for movement disorders, pain, and spasticity.

Dr. Tonge has published 32 articles in international and national journals and written 12 book chapters. He has presented 92 oral and poster presentations and delivered 41 invited lectures. In 2007, I graduated from Trakya University, Faculty of Medicine and received the title of “Medical Doctor”. In the same year, as a result of the TUS exam I took, I started my specialization training at Istanbul University, Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, Department of Cardiovascular Surgery.

During my specialization training, in 2010, I worked as a guest doctor at “Lenox Hill Hospital, Aortic Wellness Center” in New York, USA, on aortic valve-preserving surgery, aortic root surgery, aortic arch surgery, thoracoabdominal aortic surgery and robotic heart surgery.

In 2013, I worked as a “fellow” at the “Landeskrankenhaus Salzburg, Paracelsus Universitätsklinik für Gefäßchirurgie und endovaskuläre Chirurgie” clinic in Salzburg, Austria, and conducted studies on endovascular and advanced vascular surgery techniques.

Dr. Meryem Eken is an obstetrician-gynecologist and IVF specialist. She earned her M.D. and completed her residency at Istanbul University. She completed IVF clinical training at Zeynep Kamil in 2017. She led the IVF Unit at Hisar Intercontinental Hospital from 2020 to 2025. She heads the IVF Unit at Bahçeşehir University Medical Park Göztepe Hospital. She started in 2025. She has served on the faculty of Üsküdar University since 2024.
