Op. Dr. Sinan Göçer is a highly experienced cardiovascular surgeon with a specialization in heart and vascular surgery. He completed his medical education at Çukurova University, graduating from the Faculty of Medicine in 2001. He then pursued advanced training in cardiovascular surgery at Kartal Koşuyolu High Specialization Training and Research Hospital, finishing in 2012.
Dr. Göçer began his career at Batman Regional State Hospital, where he worked from 2012 to 2016 in the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery. He later joined Özel EMSEY Hospital in 2016, continuing his practice in cardiovascular surgery until 2017. From 2017 to 2022, he served in the same specialty at Özel Medicalpark Göztepe Hospital. In 2022, he moved to Özel Batman Dünya Hospital, where he worked until 2023. Currently, he is practicing at Lokman Hekim Istanbul Hospital, where he continues to provide specialized care in heart and vascular surgery.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions to healthcare, Dr. Göçer was honored with the "Doctor of the Year" award by the Turkish Ministry of Health in 2015. Prof. Dr. Cenk Eray Yıldız, who graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1996, completed his specialization in the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at Istanbul University Cardiology Institute.
During his specialization, he took part in studies on stem cell (Stem Cell Therapy) related to the heart and blood vessels in America and Germany, and studies on artificial heart support systems. He was a member of the surgical team in the application of the artificial heart support device, which was first installed at Yeditepe University in Istanbul, and worked on the artificial heart project. He took part in the establishment of the Cardiovascular Surgery Department of Cyprus Near East University and successfully completed 35 open heart surgeries as a team. He graduated from Ankara Başkent High School in 1992 and Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1999. She completed her specialty training at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and became a psychiatry specialist in 2005.
She has received Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Group Supervision training; Level I and II Family Therapies Training; Cognitive Psychotherapy Training; Family and Relationship Therapies Training and has articles published in local and foreign journals. Her field of interest is family and relationship therapies.
Education Dr. Castriota graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan. He continued his postgraduate training at the University of Bologna where he obtained two specializations: the first one in Cardiology in 1992 and then in Radiology. From 1995 to 1996 he spent a period as a Fellow in the "Arizona Heart Institute" under the supervision of Professor Diethrich.
Research Dr. Castriota is an active member of some scientific societies, such as SIRM (Italian Society of Medical Radiology), Fellow of the Scientific College of the Italian Society of Invasive Cardiology (GISE), Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC), European Cardiovascular Interventional Society (EAPCI) and of ISES, International Society of Endovascular Specialist. He is the principal investigator of a recent Protected TAVR study, aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of a particular device for brain protection during aortic valve replacement surgery using the TAVI endovascular method.
