Dr. Martin Schindl is a senior consultant at the University Hospital of Surgery, Vienna General Hospital. He specializes in surgery of the pancreas, liver, gallbladder, and bile ducts. He also focuses on surgical cancer therapy. Dr. Schindl leads the surgical outpatient clinic for pancreatic and biliary diseases. He coordinates the interdisciplinary pancreatic cancer group at the Comprehensive Cancer Center Vienna.

Univ.-Prof. Dr. Dagmar Bancher is a senior gynecologist and obstetrician in Vienna. She has over 25 years of experience. She completed her medical studies at the University of Vienna in 1991. She qualified as a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics in 1998.

Univ.-Prof. Dr. Heinz Gisslinger is a leading hematologist and internal oncologist at the Medical University of Vienna and the Confraternität Private Clinic Josefstadt. He helped found the Laboratory for Myeloproliferative Neoplasms. He is Program Director for Myeloproliferative Neoplasms and leads clinical and translational research.

He pioneered interferon therapy for myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs). He first used it clinically in the 1980s and has advanced it for more than four decades. His expertise includes polycythemia vera, essential thrombocythemia, primary myelofibrosis, chronic myeloid leukemia, and multiple myeloma.

Professor Gerhard Prager is a highly experienced bariatric surgery specialist with over 3,000 operations for obesity treatment. He is the head of the Obesity Outpatient Clinic in Vienna General Hospital and head of the Metabolic Surgery Center in Confraternitaet Private Hospital. He is a member of several organizations such as the IFSO-European Chapter, the Austrian Obesity Association, the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders, the Austrian Society of Surgery, the Austrian Society of Bariatric Surgery, and the American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery.

Dr. Zehetmayer has published about 100 scientific papers. Professor Michael Georgopoulos is a Senior Consultant in Vitreoretinal Surgery at the Medical University of Vienna. He specializes in surgical diseases of the macula, retina, and vitreous body. He is known for advanced procedures such as macular opening, macular fold correction, vitreomacular traction syndrome, and retinal detachment surgeries. He also performs combined cataract and retinal surgeries. In addition, he manages cases of vitreous hemorrhage and opacification.

Dr. Georgopoulos is recognized for introducing seamless 23-gauge transconjunctival vitrectomy. He also pioneered additive anti-VEGF therapy and the use of high-resolution 3D optical coherence tomography (HR-OCT) for pre- and postoperative assessment.
