Dr. Taygun Altındiş was born in Iskenderun, Hatay. He completed his high school education at Iskenderun Makzume Anatolian High School. After working at Pasteur Hospital between 1986-1990, he worked as Associate Professor and Deputy Director at Selçuk University between 1991-1994. Working at Marmara University between 1994-2016, Prof. Dr. Selçuk Basa served as Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry between 2004-2008. In 1989, Medical University of South Carolina in the USA, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in London Guys Hospital in 1990 and Facial Plastic and Maxillofacial Surgery in Marien Hospital in Stuttgart, Germany in 1999, Paris Armand- He studied facial surgery at Trousseau Hospital.
