Dr. Bülent Ünal is a general surgeon and surgical oncologist. He is Head of General Surgery and Surgical Oncology at Florence Nightingale Hospital. He graduated from Çukurova University in 1996. He completed his general surgery residency at Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital in 2001. He finished a minor specialization in surgical oncology at İnönü University in 2012.

In 2008, he was an NCI Short-Term Scientist at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for 10 months. He trained in sentinel node techniques and ductoscopy.
