I graduated from Trakya University Faculty of Medicine in 1990. I worked as an Emergency Physician at Istanbul Şişli Etfal Hospital until 1997. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tayfun Türkaslan is a specialist in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery. He has published over 20 articles in international journals. He completed advanced training abroad, including at St James Seacroft University Hospital in the UK.

He started to work in Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Department at Van Yuzuncu Yil University. Dr Tekin moved to London in 2022 and has continued to perform his procedures in İstanbul. Dr Tekin has published numerous scientific articles in international and national plastic surgery journals. He presented many scientific presentations at international and national congresses and conferences.
