It’s hard to even imagine how much time, financial and professional costs it took for the creators to make the information so accessible and complete for the patient. Thank you for your work and choosing such a useful niche as this! It is so important for the patient to be able to communicate with the manager at any time: to talk, consult, discuss personal issues and possible risks. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Before finding you, I had experience communicating with two organizations that provide services in the field of medical tourism, but unfortunately, commerce and the desire to sell specific specialists without options is alarming and does not inspire confidence at all. On the other hand, I’m even glad that I had such a short communication experience, especially since I was able to evaluate the capabilities of Bookimed! I understand that for the reader my review may be similar to an ode of praise, but as they say, “you can’t erase words from a song.”))) Therefore, I can only continue to talk about how it was in my specific case. Thanks to the Khizar clinic for a luxurious spacious room with floor-to-ceiling windows, an additional sofa for visitors, as well as delicious meals three times a day. It would seem difficult to surprise us with high-quality Turkish service in a hotel, but when your stay in the clinic is exactly the same as in a hotel, it is much more valuable at a time when you are absolutely alone in a foreign country and your physical capabilities are temporarily limited. Everything was thought out to the smallest detail: it so happened that I arrived for the operation unaccompanied, with a small backpack. This was extremely important for me: everything I could need was provided or was already available in my favorite room opposite the reception. The operation was scheduled for the afternoon, so the most difficult time was at night. The nurse who was on night duty did a tremendous job and until 6 am did everything as required according to the protocol after the operation. Yes, you can say, how could it be otherwise, you paid the money and it should be so, but you and I know very well that no one has canceled the human factor, and patients in this state after surgery cannot always read carefully in English doctor's recommendation language. Therefore, I send rays of love to this Great Man!!! Every 40 minutes He applied cold compresses, fed me even at night, and then took me for a walk along the long corridor of the clinic. This is an invaluable experience for me, not only because it is important for rehabilitation and health, but also for my personal faith in people. Low bow to the doctor for his professionalism, ability to listen to the patient and a high-quality operation. I would also like to thank Gulshirin Beshimova for the opportunity to make my stay in Turkey as comfortable as possible. Just as theater begins with a coat rack, so in my case Istanbul greeted me with a friendly smile from the driver and a luxurious car. It is impossible not to mention Alpay. I’ve been driving for 20 years, but I’ve never seen anyone pay such attention to the car and the passengers sitting in the back seat: TV, music from all over the world, water of different temperatures, drinks, napkins, a footrest for comfortable feet, and even a fresh bouquet of herbs to scent the salon! I had a number of small hiccups that made the overall experience a little frustrating. However the medical staff and treatment itself was fantastic and exactly what I wanted. The issues I had were as follows: - Repeated quotes from the hospital for the treatment varying by a large amount across the whole experience. - As I had never been to Turkey before, I arranged a few nights stay in private accommodation on either side of the surgery. This made sense to me but seemed to cause consistent confusion with the transport organisers and the hospital as to where I was being picked up and collected to and from. - I had multiple smaller issues with the Mercure hotel but these were solved by the staff on reception. All that said, Hisar Hospital itself was excellent. Very clean, very efficient service and I had a great translator that looked after me during my stay. I could tell the staff there were very experienced and gave me great care at all times. My surgery itself also went ahead as planned with no hiccups and so far I'm very happy with the result!

I had issues clarifying my final quote, arranging transport to and from my hotels, issues with the hotel room in particular and felt that at times there were two or three different parties all trying to arrange the details for me but not talking to each other.

Hello, first of all I would like to thank the personal doctor coordinator Ekaterina for organizing rhinoseptoplasty surgery for my son. My son had a serious fracture of the nasal septum as a child. I wanted to see otolaryngologist Suleiman Hilmi Yilmaz at the Khizar clinic. She quickly organized everything. The coordinator at the clinic, Khizar Maria, also organized everything for us at the highest level. Operation was successfully completed. Thank you! 👍🏻
The main operation was successful; the son did not feel any pain. After the operation in the evening, the nurse took such care that there was swelling, but there was almost no hemotomy. It's a pity that I don't know his name. But he didn't sleep all night.

Overall good hospital
I am a Registered Intensive Care Nurse in the US so knowing that Hisar Intercontinental Hospital is JCI certified( main reason I choose this hospital) gave me some assurance! I made the booking through bookimed who by the way were so accommodating with my dates , bookimed gave me more than two options in two countries and allowed me to choose what was best for me. I choose Hisar intercontinental hospital . After the decision was made I was contacted by a international coordinator from the hospital who tells you about airport pickup and coordinates your appointment with the surgeon, labs and appointment with anesthesia. The appointment with the surgeon was scheduled the day before the surgery unfortunately due to the European strikes I missed my flight and only arrived late the day before the surgery ( lab work and the anesthesia appointment was still done on that day). Appointment day- I met the surgeon and after consent surgery was done! I spent 3 days and 2 nights in the hospital because I needed it, I was given blood transfusions when needed, the nurses were agreeable Pros:hospital is clean, food is ok, up to date equipment( bp machines, iv catheters, hospital bed, )tv in room, toiletries and slippers provided, hot water in showers, cleaning service twice a day,Wi-Fi available, etc, all medications were given on time, nurses responsive to patient( I had them change my IV 4 times) Cons:language. Almost nobody speaks English! Get yourself the translator app. Translator only works day shift so you are on your own at night. 2.be your own advocate, if you feel something is off or if you know something should be done e.g lab work etc insist on it and it will be done.being a nurse I knew when my vitals were off and when interventions were needed so I insisted on the interventions and they were eventually done Overall good hospital.✅

What is blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery, eye lift)?

Blepharoplasty is a plastic surgery for the eyelid modification, defects correction and aesthetic improvement of the eye region.

What are the steps of blepharoplasty?

According to ASPS, the steps of the eyelid surgery are:

  1. Anesthesia. Specialists commonly use general anesthesia or intravenous sedation. The doctor recommends the best option according to the patient's medical test results.
  2. The eyelid forming. During the operation, the doctor makes an incision refer to the patient's facial structure. The upper eyelid is commonly corrected through the natural crease and the lower one — through the lower lashline. Such locations help to cover scars up the natural eyelid texture.

How to recover after eye lift?
