Pre-treatment preparation starts the night before.
Our patient is admitted to the hospital in the morning.
Blood samples are taken in the patient’s room.
Some medications are administered intravenously before the treatment.
Around noon, once the preparation (synthesis) of the Lu-177 medication is completed,
the Lu-177 therapy is administered intravenously in the patient’s room.
The patient stays in the hospital for 1 night for observation.
The next morning, a whole-body scintigraphy scan is performed using a gamma camera.
Discharge procedures begin around noon.

Follow-up process:
Blood tests are required 2 weeks and 4 weeks after the treatment.
If everything is progressing well in the blood tests,
the second treatment session is planned approximately 6 weeks later.
For patients who successfully complete 4 treatment cycles,
a Ga-68 PET/CT scan is performed to evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment.
