Our Yoga and healing program at Alaya Retreat Centre is designed with flexibility in mind. You can begin your journey any day of the week — simply align with the chakra that is being explored on that particular day.
Each day focuses on one of the seven chakras, offering yoga, meditation, and reflection practices to activate, balance, and heal that energy center. Whether you stay for the full 7-day immersion or join us for just a few days, you’ll receive powerful tools for your personal growth. All guests receive our beautifully designed Chakra Journaling Booklet, filled with prompts and insights for all seven chakras — so you can continue your practice beyond your stay.
Can’t stay the full week? No problem. Our experienced teachers will provide personal guidance on the remaining chakras, so you can continue your healing journey at home with confidence and clarity.
We recommend the full week for a complete energetic reset — but every day with us is a step closer to inner harmony.
Whether you are seeking healing, a sense of direction, or simply a pause to breathe and remember who you are, this program is a sanctuary for deep inner alignment and blissful restoration.

Note: - Our 3 day YOGA AND HEALING retreat you can start on any day of the week, depending on the day you arrive you will start with the corresponding chakra. - The start time varies by day, week and season. This schedule is shown for indicative purposes, as classes can vary. You will be given a weekly program of activities when you arrive at the retreat and a new program is available every Sunday for the following week.

Dr. Ellen Christiaanse is an expert in alternative healing. She combines evidence-based methods with holistic practices. She earned a Doctorate in Information Systems from MIT. She also holds a Master’s in Organizational Psychology.
Dr. Christiaanse is certified as a Reiki Master, Yin Yoga Teacher, Sound Therapy Healer, and Horse-Assisted Coach. She has led more than 100 wellness retreats. These include Yoga, Meditation, Detox, and Women’s programs. She is known for her innovative healing techniques and dedication to integrative health. Her client satisfaction rate is over 95%.
Pierluigi Minicozzi
Dr. Pierluigi Minicozzi is a certified Hatha Yoga Instructor. He received his accreditation from Alliance Yoga in Rishikesh, India, in 2019. He has taught widely in Italy and Spain. He leads sessions at festivals and retreat centers.
Dr. Minicozzi brings together different spiritual traditions and holistic practices in his classes. He focuses on helping students align their body, mind, and emotions. His teaching aims to support self-awareness and well-being. He is dedicated to providing transformative yoga education.
Celine Schweighofer
Originally from Austria, Celine finished her Ayurvedic YTT in the jungles of Costa Rica and eventually arrived in the vineyards of Spain. After years of undergoing physiotherapy, she found her way to Yoga and has been living a Yogic lifestyle for almost 10 years. She aims to bring self-discovery, challenge, fun, and consciousness to every class.
Celeste Villar
A yoga practitioner since she was 20 years old when her teacher, Tulsi, showed her with much love, patience, and humor that yoga heals everything. Since then, she has never stopped practicing. She has been trained in Kundalini yoga in Spain, nutrition, and Ayurvedic massages in India, where she has lived in different ashrams to practice yoga and meditation. Additionally, she has participated in dozens of yoga retreats and festivals around the world.
