The Procedure

Surgery takes 2.5 to 4 hours. You receive general anesthesia. Dr. Çekiç removes excess breast tissue and reshapes the breasts. He lifts them to a higher position when needed.

You stay in the hospital for one night after surgery. The total stay in Istanbul is 7 nights. This allows time for pre-operative tests and post-operative monitoring.

Recovery Timeline

The first 3 to 5 days after surgery are the most difficult. You must wear the compression surgical bra 24/7 for 3 to 6 months. This supports healing and helps achieve the final shape.

Avoid heavy lifting for 6 weeks. The clinic provides a 24/7 emergency support line during recovery. Post-operative follow-up appointments monitor your progress.

Very pleased with the way everything went

Very pleased with the way everything went. Excellent organisation and attitude to the patient. The procedure itself is not very painful, everything is very calm (it only hurts when the anaesthetic is injected). The doctor prepares the channels for the hair herself. Excellent hotel, impeccable transfers and support from the organiser/translator. It's too early to tell about the results, but so far everything looks good. My only regret is that they didn't add hair on the temples. I wish the doctor had noticed that too. Very grateful to all the staff.

This is the first time I went to another country to have surgery and, for the first time, I went to Turkey. So I was very nervous. But from the preparation to the arrival by chat, to the arrangements on the spot: airport transfer, hotel, travelling to the dressing, I was fully under the care of the clinic staff. I knew what the next step was, what time it would be, when to take what medication, how the operation would go, etc. I knew everything. I was carefully guided through these few days, as if by the hand. The hotel where I was accommodated also took my needs into account: I had to work and the clinic staff booked a room with a desk, which was very important for my comfort during work. The clinic staff were helpful, professional, communicative and friendly. When I left, I tried to find anything that could have been improved and I realised that it would be very difficult to make a complaint - everything was done to the best of my ability. Issues with the organisation of the operation when outsiders enter the operating theatre and the door to the operating theatre is open wide open 3.
